Christmas pajamas for my panda kitten (ENG/ESP)

Hello my loves, I wish you a happy and relaxing weekend and end of the month. The aroma of traditional Venezuelan hayacas is already in the air, and although there seems to be a lot of anticipation for this month, it's time to unleash all those ideas we have in mind.
This December, I decided to dress my kittens in Christmas pajamas, and today I'm sharing the first one I made for my kitten Panda.

Those of us who love cats know that having them at home brings happiness. They are the little ones of the house, spoiled, great companions, affectionate, and they can turn a sad day into one full of laughter with their antics. Any little thing makes us feel different; we talk to them and they can follow the conversation attentively.
I recommend that those of you who don't have kittens get some so you can see how much they can change your mood.

Hola mis amores, les deseo un feliz y relajante fin de semana, y fin de mes, ya se respira el aroma a las hallacas tradicionales de Venezuela, y aunque parece que hay mucha expectación por este mes, es hora de dar rienda suelta a todas esas ideas que tenemos en mente.
Este diciembre, decidí vestir a mis gatitos con pijamas navideños, y hoy les comparto el primero que hice para mi gatito Panda.

Quienes amamos a los gatos sabemos que tenerlos en casa trae felicidad. Son los pequeños de la casa, consentidos, grandes compañeros, cariñosos, y pueden convertir un día triste en uno lleno de risas con sus travesuras. Cualquier detalle nos hace sentir diferentes; Hablamos con ellos y pueden seguir la conversación atentamente.
Les recomiendo a quienes no tengan gatitos que se consigan algunos para que vean cuánto pueden cambiar su estado de ánimo.

For this project I used green, red, and white peach micro fabric. The green fabric has a print of reindeer and hearts. I've had this fabric since last year, intending to make what I'm sharing with you today, but with so many commitments, I put it off until yesterday, when I decided to take some pieces of fabric and start sewing the pajamas for my cats.

Para esta iniciativa utilicé, tela micro durazno verde, roja, y blanca, la tela verde es con estampado de renos y corazones, tenía esta tela desde el año pasado, con las intenciones de hacer lo que hoy les estoy compartiendo, pero entre tantos compromisos, la dejé para después y fue hasta ayer, que me propuse sacar algunos trozos de las telas, y comenzar a realizar mis costuras de las pijamas para mis gatos.

I started with a sheet of notebook paper and a pencil. I drew and cut out the patterns that would help me create the design for the pajamas, which are shaped like a jacket. So, I first drew the pattern for the first pieces, taking my cat's measurements into account.
Using the pattern, I traced it onto the fabric and cut out two identical pieces for the main garment and the lining, then cut them out.

Empecé con una hoja de cuaderno y un lápiz. Dibujé y recorté los patrones que me ayudarían a crear el diseño del pijama, que tiene forma de chaqueta. Así que primero dibujé el patrón para las primeras piezas, teniendo en cuenta las medidas de mi gato.
Usando el patrón, lo tracé sobre la tela y recorté dos piezas idénticas para la prenda principal y el forro, y luego las recorté.

I threaded a needle for hand sewing. I'd intended to sew on the machine because it's faster, but my needle was damaged. Even though I went out yesterday to buy machine needles, I got caught up in other shopping and forgot to get them. By the time I got home, it was too late to go out again, so I decided to relax by sewing a hand.

I joined the pieces right sides together and sewed all around the edge. I turned it right side out and called my kitten over to try it on. It was coming along perfectly! Panda liked it so much he didn't want to take off his pajamas. I told him to wait, there's still more to do. DX

Enhebre una aguja para coser a mano, la intención era coser en la máquina, porque la costura es más rápida, pero se me había dañado la aguja y aunque ayer salí, con la intención de comparar las agujas para la máquina, me entretuve con otras compras, y se me paso comprar las agujas, cuando llegue a casa ya se me había hecho tarde para volver a salir, así que prefiero relajarme cosiendo una mano.

Uni las piezas por los lados derechos, y cosí por toda la orilla, le di la vuelta, llama a mi gatito para probar como le iba quedando, y estaba quedando perfecto, a panda le gusto tanto, que no quería quitarse su pijama, le dije espera que todavía falta. DX.

On another piece of paper, draw the long sleeve pattern, cut out the pattern, place it on the red fabric, mark and cut out 2 long sleeve pieces, then thread the needle with red thread and sew the sleeves on the wrong side, turn it right side out to then sew them to the main piece of pajamas.

En otro trozo de hoja, dibuje el patrón de mangas largas recorte el patrón, coloque sobre la tela roja, marque y recorte 2 piezas de mangas largas, luego enhebre la aguja con hilo rojo y cosi las mangas por el lado del reves, le di la vuelta para luego coserlas a la pieza principal de la pijama.

I sewed the sleeves through the armholes of the pajama shirt. After I sewed the sleeves, I cut a strip of green fabric to make the sleeve cuffs. At the same time, I cut pieces for the collar and hem from red peach-colored micro-fabric, which highlights the traditional December colors.

Cosi las mangas por las cisas de la camisa de la pijama, despues que cosi las mangas, corte una cinta de tela verde para hacer los puños de las mangas, en ese mismo momento corte piezas para el cuello y para el ruedo con tela micro durazno de color rojo,lo que resalta los colores tradicionales decembrinos.

The result was beautiful, with its lining and jacket design, complete with a decorative button to close the pajamas at the front.
I was motivated to make a complete set of pajamas, but then I decided that for now, to help my kitten get used to them, I would just make the top.

El resultado fue precioso, con su forro y diseño de chaqueta, y un botón decorativo para cerrar el pijama por delante.
Me motivó hacer un pijama completo, pero luego decidí que, por ahora, para que mi gatito se acostumbrara, solo haría la parte de arriba.

Panda was so attentive during the making of his pajamas that when it was time to dress him, he was so calm and seemed so delighted that he even pretended to be asleep in them. Isn't my beautiful panda adorable in his Christmas clothes? I hope you enjoyed this lovely experience with the holiday pajamas for my panda cat, and soon it will be the same for Meylin and Luna. I hope I have the time and the resources, as I have some sewing orders to attend to first.

Panda estuvo atento a este proceso de confección de su pijama, que cuando fue el momento de vestirlo, él estaba muy tranquilo parecia tan encantado, que hasta simulo estar durmiendo, con su pijama, no les parece una ternura mi bello panda, luciendo su ropa de Navidad, espero les haya gustado esta bella experiencia con las pijamas decembrinas para mi gato panda, y pronto será para Meylin y para Luna, espero tener el tiempo y las, ya que tengo unos encargos de costura antes, que debo atender.
