I started to check my blouses and among them I didn't find a red blouse, or other colors, or prints, I think I've always preferred black, white and gray, but there are too many dark blouses, so I've decided to start wearing bright colors, My mom has always told me not to dress so much in black and dark colors, and I think I'm going to start listening to her, and make a new change in the colors and designs of my blouses, it's really good to have a variety of colors to make combinations and change styles.
Last year I made some colorful blouses that I ended up giving away, I didn't feel comfortable with other colors, but it's about time to make different and colorful blouses.
The design I made was one that I always wanted to do and although I had proposed to do it in black, I did it in red to see how it went, so with only a front pattern, I was guided and managed to finish a design of one of the blouses that was a challenge for me, today I feel very happy and satisfied to be able to make these changes, and to have been able to make new designs with several pieces.

Me puse a revisar mis blusas y entre ellas no conseguí una blusa de color rojo, ni de otros colores, ni de estampados, creo que siempre me he ido por preferir el color negro, blanco y gris, pero ya son muchas mis blusas oscuras, así que me he decidido y quiero empezar a vestirme de colores vivos, que resalten mi color de piel, mi mama siempre me ha dicho que no me vista tanto de color negro y oscuro, y creo que voy a empezar a hacerle caso, y hacer un nuevo cambio en los colores y diseños de mis blusas, en realidad es bueno tener variedad de colores para hacer combinaciones y cambiar los estilos.
El año pasado confeccioné unas blusas de colores que termine regalando, no me sentía cómoda con otros colores, pero ya es hora de hacerme blusas diferentes y coloridas.
El diseño que hice era uno que siempre quise hacer y aunque me lo había propuesto hacer en color negro, lo hice de color rojo para ver que tal me iba, así que con solo un patrón delantero, me guie y logré terminar un diseño de una de las blusas que era todo un reto para mí, hoy me siento muy contenta y satisfecha, de poder hacer estos cambios, y de haber podido hacer nuevos diseños con varias piezas.
Espero que les guste, sin más preámbulos, veamos como fue la confeccion de la nueva blusa.

Today I decided to make a new blouse design, which I thought was very cute, it is a top design with cups, buttons and ruffle at the bottom of the waist.
But what I found more complicated to make, was the cups, I had already made one and it was not what I expected.
I made a paper pattern with my measurements, I wanted to make a blouse that was not so tight, so I made it one size bigger, for my comfort.
I cut the cups, from the pattern, then I used one of the cups I cut to guide me and make it 2 cm wider, so I could make a darts and give depth to the cup, I didn't want a flat cup, then I sewed the darts and the cups to the front pieces of the blouse, with a straight seam and to finish it off I sewed a zigzag seam.
El día de hoy, me propuse hacer un nuevo diseño de blusa, que me pareció muy linda, es un diseño de top de copas, botones y volado en la parte baja de la cintura.
Pero lo que me parecía más complicado hacer, era las copas, ya había hecho una y no fue lo que me esperaba.
Hice un patrón de papel con mis medidas no justas, quería hacer una blusa que no fuera tan ajustada, así que lo hice una talla más, para mi comodidad.
Corte las copas, desde el patrón, luego utilice una de las copas que corte para guiarme y hacerla 2 cm más amplios, para poder hacerle una pinza y darle profundidad a la copa, no quería una copa plana, después cosí las pinzas, y las copas a las piezas delanteras de la blusa, con una costura recta y para remate le pasé una de zigzag.

The result was looking very good, I continued sewing a fabric band on the top of the cups on both front sides, and then placed the wide straps that I cut, with a curved design that highlights and stylizes the shoulders.
El resultado me estaba pareciendo muy bien, continúe cosiendo una cinta de tela en la parte superior de las copas en ambos lados delanteros, para luego colocarle los tirantes anchos que corte, con un diseño curvo que resalta y estiliza los hombros.

For the back piece I cut 4 pieces of fabric, 2 low sides and 2 high sides, sewed them together and gave it the shape of a basic T-shirt where I sewed the shoulder straps.
Para la pieza de la espalda corté 4 partes de tela, 2 laterales bajas y 2 laterales altas, las cosí y le di forma de camiseta básica donde cosí los tirantes en los hombros.

Finishing sewing the straps and the armhole of the back, I cut some long strips to make the ruffle, which I gathered before sewing on the machine, this helped me to guide me and make a good gathering, then I closed the sides with a straight seam and zigzag, then I sewed the hem.
Finally I sewed some buttons in animal print, and a ribbon of the same fabric, which I cut and stretched to sew it in the center of the cups, and finally I made a bow, then I tried on the blouse, and I felt so different and comfortable, I can say that my mom was right and that from now on I will vary the colors and styles of blouses, however, I confess that my black and white flannels, will always be my favorite.
Terminando de coser los tirantes, y la sisa de la parte de la espalda, corte unas tiras largas para hacer el volado, que fruncí antes de coser en la máquina, esto me ayudo a guiarme y hacer un buen fruncido, enseguida cerré los lados con una costura recta y zigzag, después cosí el ruedo.
Por último le cosí unos botones en animal print, y una cinta de la misma tela, que corte y estire para coserla en el centro de las copas, y para terminar le hice un lazo, luego me probé la blusa, y me sentí tan diferente y cómoda, que puedo decir que mi mamá tenía razón y que de ahora en adelante voy a variar los colores y estilos de blusas, sin embargo, confieso que mis franelas negras y blancas, siempre serán mis favoritas
