Hello friends at Needle Work! I hope you are very well today, happy Friday to everyone. Today I want to show you some of the things I have been doing this week and make a little download to unzip my week 😂.
¡Hola amigos de Needle Work! Espero que estén muy bien hoy, feliz viernes para todos. Hoy quiero mostrarles algunas de las cosas que estuve haciendo esta semana y hacer un pequeño descargo para descomprimir mi semana 😂.
It is true that my favorite posts on this blog are sewing ones. I really enjoy the creative process of each project and I like to see the progress of each garment step by step. BUT currently my phone is not cooperating with this. I mean that the poor has been with me since 2015 and when I bought it it was already an old model, so I think that every time it wants to retire. As it shows? Turning off for no reason, charging sooo slowly, telling me that it has no memory all the time. The advancement of technology has rendered it obsolete. That is why this week I have not been able to take many photos of these projects that I want to show you today, because when I sewed them my phone was without battery trying to revive 😂.
Es cierto que mis post favoritos en este blog son los de costura. Realmente disfruto del proceso creativo de cada proyecto y me gusta ver el avance del paso a paso de cada prenda. PERO actualmente mi teléfono no está cooperando con esto. Me refiero a que el pobre me acompaña desde el año 2015 y cuando lo compré ya era un modelo viejo, entonces creo que cada vez tiene más ganas de jubilarse. ¿Cómo lo demuestra? Apagándose sin razón, cargandose muuuy lento, diciéndome que no tiene memoria a cada rato. El avance de la tecnología lo ha dejado obsoleto. Es por eso que esta semana no he podido tomar muchas fotos de estos proyectos que quiero mostrarles hoy, porque cuando los cosí mi teléfono estaba sin batería tratando de revivir 😂.

The first project I finished this week was this bra I made for my mom. I wasn't really thinking about doing a post about it because it's completely the same as the one I presented on Monday, with the only difference that I added the bows that I had told you.
Lo primero qe terminé esta semana fue el corpiño que le hice a mi mamá. Realmente no tenía pensando hacer un post sobre él porque es completamente igual al que presenté el lunes, con la única diferencia de que añadí los moños que les había dicho.
The second project I did was a lingerie set for me. I used a red elastic and the end result was very nice. I used a sports bra mold (the same as the previous one, it would be the 3rd I make) and a panties with little fabric on the back, you know 😅.
El segundo proyecto que hice fue un conjunto para mí. Este conjunto si me dió pena no fotografiar el paso a paso porque usé un elástico rojo y el resultado final fue muy lindo. Usé un molde de corpíño deportivo (igual al anterior, sería el 3ero que hago) y una de bombacha con poca tela atrás, ya saben 😅.
The technique for sewing this elastic consists of simply supporting and sewing it. This makes the elastic visible completely, but from the inside, the edge of the fabric is exposed. I don't like this finish very much, but it doesn't look too bad anyway.
La técnica para coser este elástico consiste en simplemente apoyarlo y coserlo. Esto hace que el elástico se vea por completo, pero de la parte de adentro, el borde de la tela está expuesto. No me agrada mucho esta terminación, pero de todos modos no queda tan mal.
Lastly, the third project I sewed was this simple dress for Barbie. In the middle of the week my aunt came to visit and wanted to make her a dress to give to her granddaughter's doll, so I made her this outfit. It was a look a bit from the 80s, I loved it ❤️.
Por último, el tercer proyecto que cosí fue este sencillo vestido para Barbie. A mitad de semana mi tía vino de visita y quería hacerle un vestido para que le regale a la muñeca de su nieta, entonces le hice este atuendo. Quedó un look un poco de los 80, me encantó ❤️.
I know I need a new phone that won't leave me when I need it most, but I always have a hard time getting rid of my old cell phones. The one I had before this one I changed because the screen had been completely destroyed, otherwise I think I would still have it. The bad thing about the new cell phones is that they are huge and I am used to my little baby. I guess it's time I let it rest, in the meantime I'm going to mentally (and financially) prepare myself to get a modern replacement 😂.
Sé que necesito un nuevo teléfono que no me deje cuando más lo necesito, pero siempre me cuesta desprenderme de mis antiguos celulares. El que tenía antes que este lo cambié porque la pantalla se había destruido por completo, sino creo que aún lo tendría. Lo malo de los nuevos celulares es que son enormes y yo estoy acostumbrada a mi pequeño bebé. Supongo que es hora de que lo deje descansar, mientras tanto voy a ir preparandome mentalmente (y económicamente) para conseguirle un reemplazo moderno 😂.
