Hi friends of HIVE! Today I want to show you this princess dress that I made for my doll. Long ago I wanted to make it and today I made it happen. I’m taking advantage of many pieces of fabric that are in my house, that's why my dear doll will have several new clothes.
¡Hola amigos de HIVE! Hoy quiero mostrales este vestido de princesa que hice para mi muñeca. Hace tiempo tenía ganas de confeccionarlo y hoy lo hice realidad. Estoy aprovechando muchos retazos de tela que hay en mi casa, es por eso que mi querida muñeca va a tener varias prendas nuevas.
Every time I make a new garment I practice a little and learn from my past mistakes. This time I focused on doing the hem well, which is something that still doesn't come out so straight. I ironed the fabric and sewed it, I think this time it was fine.
Cada vez que hago una nueva prenda practico un poco y aprendo de mis errores pasados. Esta vez me concentré en hacer bien el dobladillo que es algo que aun no me sale tan derecho. Planché la tela y la cosí, creo que me quedó bastante bien.
To make the skirt I sewed by hand with a loose stitch and then stretched the thread. That way I managed the gathers.
Para hacer la pollera cosí a mano con una puntada floja y luego estiré el hilo. De ese modo logré los frunces.
Finally I joined both parts and on the back side I put a velcro to close the dress.
Finalmente uní ambas partes y en el lado de atrás puse un abrojo para cerrar el vestido.
This was the final result!
I really have fun doing this. I think I finally found a great hobby. I'm happy.

Realmente me divierto haciendo esto. Creo que al fin encontré un gran pasatiempos. Estoy feliz.
