For this Monday I want to share with you a new outfit for my doll: it is this printed dress with sleeves, ruffles and buttons ❤️.

Siempre amanezco de buen humor los lunes, ¿será porque es una nueva oportunidad de tener una semana productiva 😃? Para este lunes quiero compartir con ustedes un nuevo outfit para mi muñeca: se trata de este vestido estampado con mangas, volados y botones ❤️.
I was looking forward to trying to make a dress with some new sewing items, so I looked for a different model than the ones I had made previously. The fabric pattern I chose was very nice for this design ❣️.
Tenía ganas de intentar hacer un vestido con algunos elementos de costura nuevos, por lo que busqué un modelo diferente a los que había hecho anteriormente. El estampado de la tela que elegí quedó muy lindo para este diseño ❣️.
These molds I took from this page. Here are many doll dress patterns that you can copy thanks to the fact that the girl who makes them very kindly copies them on a squared sheet. This design has 6 pieces: two for the front, one for the back, two sleeves and a strip for the ruffle.
Estos moldes lo saqué de esta página. Aquí hay muchos patrones de vestidos de muñecas que puedes copiar gracias a que la chica que los hace los copia muy amablemente en hoja cuadriculada. Este diseño constó de 6 piezas: dos para el frente, una para la espalda, dos mangas y una tira para el volado.
The first thing I did was sew the little hems on the front of the piece.
Lo primero que hice fue coser los pequeños dobladillos en el frente de la pieza.
Then I joined the front pieces to the rear pieces. Here came the time to join the sleeves. I must say that I never sewed a sleeve, not even on human size clothing, so I didn't have much experience with this.
Luego, uní las piezas del delantero con las del trasero. Aquí vino el momento de unir las mangas. Debo decir que nunca cosí una manga, ni siquiera en ropa de tamaño humano, así que no tenía mucha experiencia en esto.
This step literally made me SWEAT hahaha but I think in the end I succeeded. The next was to close the sides of the dress 😃.
Este paso literalmente me hizo TRANSPIRAR jajajaja pero creo que al final lo logré. Lo siguiente fue cerrar los laterales del vestido 😃.
To make the ruffle, I hemmed the strap and folded it so that the length matched the overall width of the dress.
Para hacer el volado, le hice el dobladillo a la tira y la doblé de modo que el largo coincidiera con el ancho total del vestido.
Once I put these pieces together facing the rights, I re-seam the front to give it a neater finish.
Una vez que uní estas piezas enfrentando los derechos, volví a pasar una costura por el frente para darle una terminación más prolija.
Lastly, I added some hand-sewn buttons. I must say that I could not put four buttons on it and I only sewed three because my little doll has a very generous bust and if I put a button higher it would not close her dress 😂.
Por último, añadí unos botones cosidos a mano. Debo decir que no pude colocarle cuatro botones y solo cosí tres porque mi pequeña muñeca tiene un busto muy generoso y si le ponía un botón más arriba no le cerraba el vestido 😂.

I really liked making this dress because it's always good to try new things. Also, it's not because she's my doll, but she's so cute that everything looks great on her ❤️!
