I'm a little excited to write my first post. I received very friendly comments on the article in which I briefly introduced myself 2 days ago. I didn't know I would be greeted so warmly. It surprised me and made me very happy. Before I became a member here, I was very hesitant. I wonder what kind of place it is and what kind of people the members are. With the comments on my article, all the hesitant thoughts about this place flew out of my mind. All the positive comments really motivated me. So thank you everyone.
As I mentioned, I haven't been working for a long time. I do hand knitting as a hobby. I used to do it for myself, but the likes of me around me increased and people wanted me to knit braids for them. At first, I did not accept money, but the people who received it did not feel comfortable, so they definitely wanted me to get paid for my efforts. In the meantime, my hobby has become my business door.
In the winter, I knit all the time and sell some of what I knit. Even if I don't sell them, I think I will continue to knit. Because the period when I started knitting was a period when my stress was intense and I felt helpless. When I gave myself to hand knitting, I took all my troubles away. Every time I hit the bottle, I was getting further and further away from the stress. Knitting has been pure therapy for me.
Now I want to share with you my cardigan that I finished the other day. I applied a harosha-weighted front and back, and a raspberry motif on the arms. Last winter, it was a pattern that I knitted on demand all the time. I did this because my daughter wanted it. She asked me to add a brown tone and make it a little longer.
