Slow!!! Like a bandit's horse
When I hear about cowboys, the Lone Ranger and his Indian friend Toro come to mind; a time in my childhood when I used to do my homework to enjoy watching TV and my favorite shows. I am fascinated by cowboy movies and the poor outlaws or also known as bandits.
Poor outlaws, yes, because at the time of assigning the horses they gave the slowest one, it is a curiosity that I have had since I was a child; Why the bandits' horses are slower? As a result of this peculiarity the Venezuelan who puts a joke to everything says: "You are slower than the bandits' horse". Which made me laugh because the cushion that I bring you for the contest, is one of my goals for the year 2021 and so far in 2022, are twelve cushions. At least I have less to do than number one.
Since I moved I decided to change the fabric of the cushions of the wrought iron chairs, that was seven months ago and every day I say that I am going to do it and everything remains in words. I collected jeans from my friends. I always have an excuse not to start the project; the kitchen, #Hive, Discord, and work have prevented me. This week I saw the contest on the #needleworkmonday Community and got excited but that's where it stayed.
The weekend I didn't have internet, the electricity went out several times and as I was annoyed I remembered the contest and decided to start my project. I always take the opportunity to do some crafts, especially recycling.
I bring you the step by step to recycle a cowboy and use the fabric to make a cushion, I only have eleven to go, I hope I have motivation to continue with the project.

To make my project I used a size eight women's denim, scraps of floral fabrics, purple, white and black sewing threads. And you can't miss the sewing needles.

Cuando me hablan de vaqueros viene a mi memoria el Llanero Solitario y su amigo indio Toro; época de mi niñez donde hacía mis tareas para disfrutar de la televisión y ver mis programas favoritos. Me fascinan las películas de vaqueros y de los pobres forajidos o también conocidos como los bandidos.
Pobres forajidos, sí así mismo, porque al momento de asignar a los caballos les daban el más lento, es una curiosidad que he tenido desde que era niña; ¿Por qué los caballos de los bandidos son más lentos? A raíz de esta peculiaridad el venezolano que a todo le pone un chiste dice: “Eres más lento que el caballo de los bandidos”. Lo cual me ha hecho reír, ya que el cojín que les traigo para el concurso es una de mis metas del año 2021 y lo que va del 2022, son doce cojines. Al menos me falta menos, hice el número uno.
Desde que me mudé decidí cambiar la tela de los cojines de las sillas de hierro forjado, de eso hace siete meses y todos los días digo que los voy a hacer pero todo se queda en palabras. Recolecté jeans de mis amigas. Siempre tengo un pretexto para no iniciar el proyecto; la cocina, #Hive, Discord, y el trabajo me lo han impedido. Esta semana vi el concurso en la Comunidad #needleworkmonday y me entusiasmé, pero ahí quedo.
El fin de semana no tuve internet, se fue la electricidad varias veces y como estaba fastidiada me acordé del concurso y decidí dar inicio a mi proyecto. Además siempre aprovecho para hacer alguna manualidad, sobre todo reciclaje.
Les traigo el paso a paso para reciclar un vaquero y usar la tela para hacer un cojín. Solo me faltan once, espero tener motivación para continuar con el proyecto.
Soy más lenta que el caballo de los bandidos

Para realizar mi proyecto utilicé un vaquero de mujer talla ocho, retazos de telas de flores, hilos de coser morado, blanco y negro. Y no pueden faltar las agujas de coser.

Los muebles de hierro forjado están totalmente deteriorados, poco a poco he ido arreglando todo. Wuao, y los cojines están muy feitos y sucios.
Les presento para que conozcan al feo cojín que a partir de hoy se llamará: “Cojín, El bandido” y a su inseparable amigo “El Vaquero”. Juntos motivaron a Mafa para que no fuera tan lenta.
Prepárense a conocer el paso a paso e historia entre estos dos nuevos amigos y cómo lograron que Mafa se despegara del computador, de #Hive y de Discod. ¿Quién los ayudó en este complot en contra de Mafa? Se dice que fueron los bandidos Net y Ele que están azotando al viejo oeste.
Step 1: Cut the cushion and remove the old lining and put it in the sun to air it out. And match the design with the recycled jeans fabric.
Paso 1: Corté el cojín y le saqué el forro viejo. Lo puse al sol para airearlo. Cuadré el diseño con la tela de jeans que reciclé.
Step 2: I made the design, pinned and stitched with black thread. I sewed the cushion by hand with back stitch as I don't like to sew thick fabric on the machine because the repairs are very expensive and the needles are very expensive.
Paso 2: Hice el diseño, ajusté con alfileres y cosí con hilo negro. Cosí el cojín a mano con punto atrás ya que no me gusta coser tela gruesa en la máquina porque las reparaciones están muy caras y las agujas.

Step 3: I made a little Patchwork flower using Grandma's garden technique. I glued it to the fabric with buttonhole stitch and then closed the ends of the cushion.
