Today I’ll show you a beautiful crochet project: an eye-catching flower that can serve various purposes. This time, I’ve made it into a lovely keychain to replace my old one, and I’ve personalized it with my name. You can use this type of flower as an appliqué on a T-shirt, to decorate mugs, planters, or mobiles—it’s the perfect handmade gift. I hope you like my creation.

Hoy les enseñaré una bella elaboración a crochet, se trata de una flor llamativa, la cual le podemos dar diversas funciones, en esta ocasión es un precioso llavero para reemplazar mi antiguo llavero, y muy personalizado con mi nombre, este tipo de flor los podemos utilizar en apliques sobre una franela, decorar tazas, maceteros, o móviles, ideal obsequiar trabajos hechos a mano, espero que mi trabajo les guste.

STEPS//PASOS
Let's get started. First, we'll singe the end of the thread a little to make it easier to thread the five gold beads onto the crochet thread. Then, form a small circle by joining the ends together and secure it tightly with a knot.
Comenzar a trabajar, primero vamos a quemar un poco el extremo del hilo para que se nos haga mas facil introducir, las cinco perlas doradas, en el hilo crochet, hacer un pequeño círculo uniendo los extremos, y ajustar bien apretado con nudo.
Start with a single crochet, then work four chain stitches and a single crochet in each space between the gold beads. You will have five arches in total; then close the loop to form a circle.
Trabajar con un punto bajo, continuar con cuatro cadenetas y un punto bajo en cada separación de las perlitas doradas, tendremos una cantidad de cinco arcos y cerrar dando la forma de círculo.
Here’s how to start each petal of the crocheted flower in a circle.
We’ll fill in each arch: first a single crochet, a half double crochet, followed by four double crochets, a half double crochet, and a single crochet at the end of each arch. Continue this pattern until all five petals are complete, then close the round with a slip stitch.
Cómo se va obteniendo, en un círculo para dar inicio a cada pétalo de la flor en crochet.
Vamos a rellenar cada arco, primero un punto bajo, un punto medio, seguidamente de cuatro puntos altos, punto medio bajo y un punto bajo al final de cada arco, y proseguir con este procedimiento hasta terminar los cinco pétalos, y para cerrar la vuelta con un punto raso.
When we finish, we'll be working with fifty chains, which will be used to attach the pendant to the keyring.
Al cerrar trabajaremos con cincuenta cadenas, que serán las que se enlazara o el colgante para el aro del llavero.
We’ll attach the flower to the keyring.
Using the clear thread, we’ll thread the letters and beads, placing a white bead, then a gold one, and taking care not to jumble up the letters of the name. Once everything is threaded, we’ll go back to the beginning, pull it tight, and secure it to one end of the chain.
Haremos la union de la flor al aro del llavero.
Con el hilo transparente, vamos a introducir las letras y perlas, colocar una perla blanca, luego la dorada y con cuidado que no nos queden desordenadas las letras del nombre, luego de introducir todo, nos vamos a devolver de nuevo al inicio, bien ajustado y fijarlo a un extremos de la cadeneta.
