Buscando entre mis telas conseguí un retazo de tela con diseño playero de un mono tipo palazo que le hice a mi hija y recordé que ella me había pedido que le hiciera un Top playero con tirantes atrás con el sobrante de esta tela, así que me puse manos a la obra, aquí les dejo el paso a paso :

Searching through my fabrics I found a scrap of fabric with a beach design from a palazzo-type jumpsuit that I made for my daughter and I remembered that she had asked me to make her a beach top with straps in the back with the leftover fabric, so I got to work, here I leave you the step by step:

Esta tela es de un diseño playero que me parece muy bonito, el único detalle es que esta tela es un poco rígida así que no sé si quedará bien para este modelo de top, mi hija me había sugerido que le realizara un Top playero con tiras para trenzar en la parte de atrás y en la parte delantera en el busto exactamente que fuera parecida la forma a los trajes de baño que son en triángulo, improvisando un poco ya tenía una idea de cómo realizar este modelo, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:
- Un retazo de tela puede ser medio metro aproximadamente
- Tijeras
- cinta métrica
- tiza
- Máquina de coser
This fabric has a beachy design that I think is very pretty. The only drawback is that this fabric is a bit stiff, so I don't know if it will work well for this top style. My daughter had suggested that I make her a beach top with braided straps in the back and front at the bust, exactly similar to the shape of triangle swimsuits. After a bit of improvisation, I already had an idea of how to make this style. Here's the list of materials to use:
- A scrap of fabric, approximately half a meter
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Chalk
- Sewing machine

Para las medidas lo hice calculando un aproximado, comenzamos: vamos a doblar la tela a la mitad a una distancia de 20 cm este será el ancho de la blusa en la parte inferior, el largo va a ser a gusto de cada quien en este caso lo voy a hacer de 15 cm, para los laterales vamos a marcar en la parte inferior 1 cm y trazamos una línea en diagonal desde la orilla superior, luego con la tela doblada a la mitad vamos a darle un pequeño redondez con profundidad de 2 cm partiendo desde 2 cm luego del centro de la pieza, esto es para darle la forma al busto.
Para la parte de atrás doblamos la tela a la mitad y vamos a cortar dos pares de cuadrados de 15 cm de ancho por 15 cm de largo, le reducimos el centímetro en diagonal para la parte inferior en el lateral.
Ahora vamos a hacer las dos piezas para el busto, vamos a cortar dos triángulos las medidas aproximadas son 25 cm de alto, bajamos en diagonal dándole un ancho en la parte inferior de 18 cm aproximadamente al doble haciéndole la curva para darle la forma al busto.
Y para finalizar con el corte de las piezas para la blusa vamos a cortar tiras de tela 5 cm de ancha para utilizarla como sesgo y para la tira de trenzar de la blusa.
For the measurements, I calculated an approximate measurement. Let's start by folding the fabric in half at a distance of 20 cm. This will be the width of the blouse at the bottom. The length will be up to each person's taste. In this case, I'll make it 15 cm. For the sides, we'll mark 1 cm at the bottom and draw a diagonal line from the top edge. Then, with the fabric folded in half, we'll give it a small roundness with a depth of 2 cm, starting 2 cm from the center of the piece. This is to give the bust its shape.
For the back, we'll fold the fabric in half and cut two pairs of squares, 15 cm wide by 15 cm long. We'll reduce the diagonal measurement for the bottom edge on the side.
Now we're going to make the two pieces for the bust. We're going to cut two triangles, the approximate measurements are 25 cm high. We'll cut them diagonally, giving them a width of approximately 18 cm at the bottom, which will double, creating a curve to give the bust its shape.
And to finish cutting the pieces for the blouse, we're going to cut 5 cm wide strips of fabric to use as a bias and for the blouse's braided strap.

Ahora comenzaremos con las costuras, vamos a colocarle la tira como sesgo a los dos triángulos que son la parte del busto de la blusa, le colocamos primero en la parte que va hacia el centro del busto y luego le colocaremos el que va a los lados y éste se lo vamos a dejar largo para unir con la tira que será la trenza de la parte de atrás
Now we will start with the seams, we will place the strip as a bias to the two triangles that are the bust part of the blouse, we will place it first on the part that goes towards the center of the bust and then we will place the one that goes on the sides and we will leave it long to join with the strip that will be the braid on the back.

Una vez listas las partes superiores de la blusa las vamos a unir a la parte inferior, ubicamos en el centro montando una de las piezas sobre la otra pasamos una pequeña costura, luego pasamos costura en la orilla del lateral uniendo las partes, el sobrante en el Centro lo vamos a arruchar y luego le pasamos costura completo.
Once the upper parts of the blouse are ready, we will join them to the lower part, we place them in the center, placing one of the pieces on top of the other, we make a small seam, then we sew along the side edge joining the parts, we will wrinkle the excess in the Center and then we sew it completely.

Ahora vamos a armar la parte de atrás, pasamos costura uniendo dos piezas en la parte superior, hacemos una tira fina, cortamos en trozos de aproximadamente 4 cm doblamos a la mitad y colocamos en la orilla central de la parte de atrás esta será para hacer pequeños ojales por donde pasará el trenzado, pasamos costura para fijar bien, volteamos y luego embonamos a la parte delantera de la blusa por el lateral, el mismo procedimiento lo hacemos con la otra parte de atrás de la blusa.
Now we are going to assemble the back, we sew together two pieces at the top, make a thin strip, cut it into pieces of approximately 4 cm, fold it in half and place it on the central edge of the back. This will be used to make small buttonholes where the braiding will pass through, we sew to secure it well, turn it over and then fit it to the front of the blouse on the side, we do the same procedure with the other back of the blouse.

En este paso le pasaré Overlook en toda la orilla inferior, luego le paso costura recta haciéndole un pequeño ruedo de medio centímetro y para finalizar le unimos la otra parte de la tira pasándole costura para que nos quede delgada y larga para que sea suficiente para el trenado en la parte de atrás, y así finalizamos este lindo Top playero, espero les haya gustado
