Today I want to share with you how to make a cute robe from a fabric with a beautiful kitten design. After a few days off from sewing, I'm back at it, so let's get started! Here's the step-by-step tutorial.

No les pasa que hay días que de verdad no quieren hacer nada, sobre todo en las cosas que más les gustan, así estuve estos días y no tenía ánimos de coser, así que decidí tomarme un descanso y aproveché de hacerle mantenimiento a mis máquinas, y hoy he decidido retomar mis costuras, haciendo una linda bata con una tela muy hermosa con diseño de gatitos, esta tela se la obsequié a mi hija en su cumpleaños, decidi obsequiarle la tela para que ella decidiera el modelo de lo que le haría, ya que no sabía si quería pijama de Short o bata y ella escogió que le hiciera una bata, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:
- un m de tela elástica
- Cinta métrica
- Tijeras
- hilo
- Máquina de coser
Don't you ever have days when you really don't want to do anything, especially the things you love most? That's how I felt these past few days, and I just didn't feel like sewing. So I decided to take a break and used the time to service my sewing machines. Today, I decided to get back to sewing, making a cute robe with a beautiful fabric that has a kitten design. I gave this fabric to my daughter for her birthday. I decided to give her the fabric so she could choose what I would make for her, since I wasn't sure if she wanted short pajamas or a robe. She chose a robe, and here's the list of materials you'll need:
- 1 meter of stretch fabric
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Thread
- Sewing machine
Mi máquina estaba muy sucia así que aproveché los días de descanso para hacerle su respectivo mantenimiento
PASO A PASO
STEP BY STEP
Vamos a comenzar colocando nuestra tela por el lado del revés. Luego doblamos a la mitad a una medida de ancho de aproximadamente 30 cm.., para el largo podemos hacerlo de 1 m, las medidas en la parte superior van a ser:
9 cm para darle la forma al escote del cuello, para la parte de atrás bajamos 2 cm y le hacemos la semi curva y para la parte delantera bajamos 18 cm y le damos la forma en V, luego marcamos 7 cm para el ancho y caída del hombro, lo podemos hacer con 2 cm de caída, en la parte superior, formando como un cuadro imaginario. Vamos a marcar un punto donde nos dé 25 cm allí unimos, haciendo una semi curva, hasta donde nos quedó la orilla del hombro para darle la forma al contorno de manga, luego le damos la forma por el lateral, aparte vamos a cortar tiras de aproximadamente 5 cm de ancho para el sesgo de las orillas de nuestra bata

En este paso vamos a comenzar con las costuras, comenzamos uniendo por los hombros, luego vamos a colocar las tiras que cortamos, doblando a la mitad y las unimos con las orillas del contorno de manga y luego en todo el contorno del cuello, dejando la forma en V en la parte delantera del cuello
In this step we will begin with the seams, starting by joining at the shoulders, then we will place the strips we cut, folding them in half and joining them with the edges of the sleeve outline and then all around the neckline, leaving the V shape at the front of the neck

Para el cuello en forma de V, le coloqué un detalle, un pequeño trozo de elástico para fruncir en la parte del busto, esto la hace más bonita, luego uno por los laterales y hago el ruedo y así ya está lista está linda, bata o dormilona, espero les haya gustado.
For the V-neck, I added a detail: a small piece of elastic to gather at the bust. This makes it prettier. Then I added elastic along the sides and hemmed it, and that's it! This lovely robe or nightgown is ready. I hope you liked it.
