Comenzamos la semana haciendo lindos proyectos 🥰, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una idea para hacer unos lindos guantes, tipo mitón, acompáñame y te comparto el paso a paso:

We're starting the week with some lovely projects 🥰, and today I want to share with you an idea for making some cute mitten-style gloves. Join me and I'll share the step-by-step instructions:

Los mitones son ese tipo de guantes en el cual los dedos quedan por fuera, se puede usar en zonas frías, o también los puedes hacer de cualquier tipo de tela y usarlo como parte de tu Outfit, en este caso voy a hacerlos con tela polar, en tono lila, para complementar un vestido que le hice a mi hija hace tiempo, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:

• Retazo de tela de su preferencia
• Encaje o retazo de tela para sesgo
• Tijeras
• Hilo
• Máquina de coser

Mittens are a type of glove where the fingers are left out. They can be used in cold weather, or you can make them from any type of fabric and use them as part of your outfit. In this case, I'm going to make them with fleece fabric in a lilac tone to complement a dress I made for my daughter a while ago. Here's the list of materials you'll need:

• Scrap of fabric of your choice
• Lace or fabric scrap for bias tape
• Scissors
• Thread
• Sewing machine

Vamos a comenzar a darle forma a los mitones, para esto vamos a colocar la tela doblada a la mitad en la que quepa nuestra mano sin incluir el dedo pulgar, si la tela es elástica, puedes cortarlo a la medida de tu mano, le vas a dar la altura, hasta donde deseas que te llegue en los dedos. Puedes hacerle la forma de tu dedo pulgar o puedes dejar una abertura allí.

Para el tamaño, puedes colocar tu mano sobre la tela y la dibujas, en mi caso voy a utilizar un mitón que le hice antes a mi hija, ya que ella no estaba en casa hoy para guiarme con el tamaño de su mano, el mitón por el que me estoy guiando, no tiene la forma para el dedo pulgar, le haré la forma del pulgar , ya que mi hija lo quiere así.

Para las orillas, voy a utilizar la misma tela morada que usé para su vestido, esta tela es elástica, la utilizaré como sesgo, cortaré los retazos suficientes para las orillas de arriba y abajo.

Let's start shaping the mittens. To do this, fold the fabric in half, making sure it's large enough to fit your hand, excluding your thumb. If the fabric is stretchy, you can cut it to fit your hand. You'll need to adjust the length to reach your fingers. You can shape it to fit your thumb or leave an opening.

For the size, you can place your hand on the fabric and trace its outline. In my case, I'm going to use a mitten I made for my daughter earlier, since she wasn't home today to guide me with her hand size. The mitten I'm using as a guide doesn't have a thumb opening, so I'll add one, as my daughter prefers.

For the edges, I'm going to use the same purple fabric I used for her dress. This fabric is stretchy, so I'll use it as bias tape. I'll cut enough pieces for the top and bottom edges.

En este paso vamos a comenzar con las costuras, para la parte superior, utilicé el retazo de tela más angosto, aquí le voy a colocar como si fuese sesgo, uno ambas telas luego le doy el dobles y paso costura nuevamente, para la parte inferior, doblo el retazo de tela morada a la mitad, uno con costura, ambas telas y luego paso costura por el lado derecho, éste va a quedar como el puño de los suéter

In this step we'll begin with the seams. For the top part, I used the narrower piece of fabric. Here I'm going to attach it as if it were bias tape. I join both pieces of fabric, then fold it over and sew again. For the bottom part, I fold the purple piece of fabric in half, sew both pieces together, and then sew along the right side. This will look like the cuff of the sweater.

Ahora vamos a unir con costura, por el lateral, pasamos costura hasta llegar a la figura del dedo pulgar, y nos fijamos en dejar el orificio para sacar el dedo. Por allí en mis imágenes les muestro como debe quedar.

Now we're going to sew it together along the side. We'll sew until we reach the thumb shape, making sure to leave the hole for the thumb. I've included pictures showing you how it should look.

Ahora continúo con el segundo mitón, hago el mismo procedimiento, luego corto, los excedentes y en la parte de las curvas, trato de hacer un pequeño piquete para que al voltear no se deforme, luego volteo y así ya están listos estos lindos guantes tipo mitónes

Now I continue with the second mitten, I do the same procedure, then I cut off the excess and in the curved part, I try to make a small snip so that it doesn't get deformed when I turn it inside out, then I turn it inside out and that's how these cute mitten-type gloves are ready

Me encantó el resultado de estos lindos guantes tipo mitones, en las películas muestran mucho a las mujeres en épocas antiguas, que usaban mucho este tipo de guantes y se veían muy lindos con sus atuendos, hoy en día se usan mayormente en zonas frías y permite utilizar un poco más los dedos que con guantes tradicionales, pero también, en ocasiones, algunas chicas los usan para complementar algunos outfits exclusivos y eso me encanta, a mi hija le encantaron sus nuevos mitones, y ahora está ansiosa en usarlos, espero les guste esta idea, de antemano estoy muy agradecida de que hayan visitado mi publicación, me despido deseándoles unas semana cargada de bendiciones

I loved how these cute mitten-style gloves turned out. In movies, they often show women from ancient times wearing this type of glove, and they looked so lovely with their outfits. Nowadays, they're mostly used in colder climates and allow for more finger dexterity compared to traditional gloves. But sometimes, some women use them to complement specific outfits, and I love that. My daughter absolutely adores her new mittens and can't wait to wear them. I hope you like this idea.
