Today I will love to share this beautiful tutorial on how I made this stylish gown for my little sister.
I firstly cut the half length of the gown and the front has a loop then I use a red satin to cut the loop part and it look beautiful and stylish after cutting the front I went ahead to cut the back of the half length I folded the 1.5” zipper allowance and then the neckline is a bit lower than the front .
After cutting the half length I fold the remaining material to cut the sket part of the gown.
The sket part is measured from the waistline to the kneel line and then I measured the waistline as same with the half length waistline then I measured 4” from the center to the hip line then I came down 3 from the hip line to get the curve for the hips gathered after then I place the from on the remaining piece of fabric to cut out the back.
Then I folded 1.5” for the zipper allowance, I cut out the sleeve part .
Sewing step
I firstly join the ruffles part of the half length to the dress then I join the bodices of the dress then fixed the sleeve of the dress.
Final look
The dress look beautiful on my sister and she look so elegant in the dress when she wore it 😍✂️🪡🧵
