Hello hive
Good day to all my creative friends and needlework community happy new weeks to you all and I wish you all a bless full week ahead ππΌ.
Today I will love to share this beautiful piece I made for my friend it a kimono styles combined with Aso oke and it look so beautiful I made use of 3 yards of Ankara fabric and one piece of aso oke .
I folded the fabrics into four then I measured the length of the to be 42β plus 2β allowance then I measured the horizontal measurement, shoulder to sleeve is 18β and the burst is 16β plus sewing allowance and the waistline is 14β then the hips I added 3β allowance to all the measurements since is bubu gown .
I cut the back separately then the front separately after then I open the front up and I folded the aso oke into two then I slanted the down part and sew and I open it up and place the aso oke at the front neckline and cut out the neck .-
I join the neck part then I use bayas to turn the back neckline then I also use the aso oke to turn the sleeve edges and it look beautiful and unique when my friend wore it πβ€οΈπ₯°.
