Greetings community #needlework it's been a long time without posting content but in recent days I've felt the need to buy clothes how to make them because I want to renew my style when dressing, I know it sounds a bit drastic to change my style of dress but More than drastic, it is expensive, so it will be a process that can last a couple of weeks.
A few days ago I went to buy a "Mon Jeans" that are nothing more than fairly large jeans or that are not at all tight to the body so to speak, but unfortunately the one that was to my liking at the waist is a little big so I decided accommodate it and I will show you the process through a video and a post of how I managed to adjust it to my waist.
As you can see in the following image, the pants are very loose or large in the waist, it was the only pants that I totally liked but the waist failed so I decided to buy it in the same way. But now if we go with the repair.
MATERIALS IMPLEMENTS:

I saw several ways to fix it and several people suggested that I do it with elastic to modify it as little as possible, I confess that this technique is the first time that I use it so we will learn together.
I proceeded to measure my waist and the pants to know how many centimeters I should modify, the next thing was to make two vertical cuts on the waistband on the inside of the pants, which would be where the elastic would go, remember that the best option is for the elastic to be almost of the same thickness as the waistband to prevent it from taking unwanted shapes.
The next thing was to insert the elastic bands on the sides, if you find difficulty in this you can help yourself with the help of a safety pin, then try how our jeans fit so you will have to hold the elastic band with the help of pins before fixing the elastic band with the sewing machine.
Once the elastic is inside the waistband and fastened with pins, we will sew the cuts where it entered the sewing machine with a zig-zag, and in this way our pants would be ready so easily.
Saludos comunidad #needlework ha pasado un largo tiempo sin publicar contenido pero en los últimos días he sentido la necesidad de comprarme ropa como hacérmela ya que quiero renovar mi estilo al vestirme, se que se escucha un poco drástico eso de cambiar mi estilo de vestir pero mas que drástico es costoso así que será un proceso que podrá durar un par de semanas.
Unos pocos días atrás fui a comprarme un "Mon Jeans" que no son mas que jeans bastante grandes o que no son nada ajustado al cuerpo por así decirlo, pero lastimosamente el que fue de mi agrado de cintura me queda un poco grande así que decidí acomodarlo y les mostrare el proceso mediante un video y un post de como logre ajustarlo a mi cintura.
Como podrán apreciar en la siguiente imagen el pantalón me queda muy flojo o grande en la cintura, fue el único pantalón de mi total agrado pero de cintura fallaba así que decidí comprarlo de igual forma. Pero ahora si vamos con la reparación.

- Hilo a juego
- Maquina de coser
- Cúter
- Tijeras
- Elástica
Vi varias formas de como arreglarlo y varias personas me sugirieron que lo hiciera con elástico para modificarlo lo menos posible, confieso que esta técnica es la primera vez que la emplee así que aprenderemos juntos.
Procedí a medir mi cintura y el pantalón para saber cuantos centímetros debía modificar, lo siguiente fue en la parte interna del pantalón hacer dos cortes verticales en la pretina que seria por donde iría la elástica, recuerden que la mejor opción es que la elástica sea casi del mismo grosor de la pretina para evitar que la misma tome formas no deseadas.
Lo siguiente fue introducir las elásticas de los costado, si encuentras dificultad en esto puedes ayudarte con la ayuda de un imperdible, luego ir probando como nos queda nuestro jeans así que deberás sujetar la elástica con la ayuda de alfileres antes de fijar la elástica con la maquina de coser.
Una vez que el elástico este dentro de pretina y sujeto con alfileres coseremos los cortes por donde entro en la maquina de coser con un zig-zag, y de esta forma tan fácil estaría lista nuestro pantalón.
