It is a cold and bright day for us today and even though the temperature is still manageable compared to the frozen towns and cities I have seen across the world, cold makes it difficult for one to be active, but somehow we have to get out of the blankets and either work on the farms or find some crafts and sewings to do.
I hope that you guys aren't as cold as I am...
Today am making this purple monostrap party dress...
Since it is still the party seasons and every now and then there is either a wedding or end of the year award and ceremonies.
We get invitations to celebrate dinner with friends and you don't want to be caught off guard without an outfit for the occasions.
Well I try as much to live within my budgets and even though I haven't bought some luxury fabrics to work with, its fine for now as there is still room for growth and lot more... With time I could be able to afford whatever fabrics I want...
I have some unfinished dress design and wanted to bring this to life.
Cutting and stitching was done and I did a bit of slash and spread on the monostrap style line to get this.

And the bodice was shaped like this, just how I want it to be.
The outfit was a total mess since two year back when I embarked on making this but am just glad now that my sewing has improved and I proudly renewed this into what it is even though I got disappointed at the outcome because I couldnt get to iron this while sewing so that it can stay in place and appear more appealing. For now its just like pretty unkept...
