Hello Hive
I trust that we are making headway through our various activities. I am equally doing thesame her. The sun is getting hot Already and it's barely midday.
I want to share with the community this beautiful ladies body hug dress I have sewn for myself.
My brother's always joked that ladies never have enough clothes to wear even if they have a wardrobe full of them, they keep searching for what to wear for every occasion and end up wasting so much time while doing that.
Ladies are a special set of people and we don't want to appear shabby unkept and unattractive at any time. Because of the uniqueness of our bodies we really need these extra care
I finally got to sew myself a plain white inner body hug dress after a very long time of needing one. I think this kind of a dress are a must have for my ladies.
You can get dressed up in a plain dress like this to any occasion or party, all you need to do is go wrap a shawl around you neck or a jacket at deem fit. I actually do have a lot of after dresses that have been screaming for an inner wear like this one.
If you have a wrap over dress like this one, you definitely need some inner wear dress that are soft and comfortable.
You can actually go fashionable in different ways with a dress like this. It went pretty perfect with my blue dress here. I just love the outcome and usefulness of this simple dress
You can also wear this with short women's dress. You can also modify the sleeves and sew shorter ones that will not show outside the dress like mine here.
For the making of this, you need to purchase some very soft material that are very stretchy and friendly with the skin as well would be sewing it a bit tight and fitted.
I got my own fabric for $2 and then proceeded to cut the fabric.
I made the necklines for the front to be 3.5" by 2.5" width by depth. For this design we need a bit of discretion for the neck. It must not be too deep but must be wide enough for our head to pass through easily
All of these are important as the dress will be sewn without a zipper.
After cutting both front and back bodice, I equally cut out the sleeves and the some bias for the necklines using the same fabric. Next I proceeded with the sewing.
First I attached the bias necklines and turned the neckline
Next I joined the sleeves to the dress, making sure that they were smart and fitted too. Smart doesn't mean that they should be too tight and uncomfortable.
And then created a hemming for the sleeves and stitched up the dress.
I got a lovely fitted and useful ladies body hug dress all made for only $2. A dress like this will go for $5 or more at the market. You can place an order to have one sewn for yourself and in your size of if you love the outcome.
