Hello hive
I happen to stumble upon a post from one of my best friends bimpcy about how she has creatively sewn an outfit for herself using a plain and pattern fabric material.
The simple panel skirt and blouse became so attractive to me when I saw a picture of her in it.
Another person I have drawn inspiration from is my pastors wife in church. It is sometimes difficult not to loss focus in church even when the sermon is going on. My creative and seamstress mind will never keep quiet, my eyes keeps swaying about all the individual designs everyone has worn to church.
My pastors wife is a real model of decency whom I admire so much. Most times I wonder how she is able to convert very decent dresses to something beautiful you can't take your eyes off it.
After sewing a decent outfit for herself the creative work of embellishment, embroidery and every other craft she will add to her outfits will make it a design you will also like to recreate.
Following her I have thought about sewing a very lovely yet decent dress for myself.
While making this I realized that the fabric pattern looks similar to the one my friend was wearing below only that my own has very little lines of stripe as the pattern.
I can chose to follow her pattern of creativity or do something unique of my own drawing inspiration from this. Several ideas keep rolling in my mind and one thing I'm glad about is that one can be this decent and still look beautiful.
Most of my embellishment work circle around bead work but today I have learnt what I can do with these kind of materials drawing inspiration from bimpcy my friend here.
Having cut the bustier pattern for my dress I had swingged into action with the stitching here and there
All of these process is an easy one for me since I have sewed this a couple of times
Once the dress is ready the most difficult task is the creative part where you have to engage in some thoughtful ideas on how to go about it.
My dress looks Abit attractive without any touch yet I wonder what will become of the dress following what I have in mind to do with it.
