Hello Hive
Its no joke at all, now I can truly walk on ice with no fear and definitely I can bet that you want to watch me do so 😂😂😂.
Could a little pride be coming with this sarcasm, I don't think so am just glad I made it eventually.
In short I only meant to say that I have gotten a small victory and found my way around how to work with this soft dare devil (tulle net).
Though it is soft thin and fragile
You need to see it melt under little heat
Just a little prick and the whole piece gets turn apart
Nevertheless I could still make something beautiful of it.
After a first attempt making my teaser jacket I decided to try a top with the remaining tulle fabric.
This time I had no problem cutting or stitching this piece and here is what I got.
This was the whole idea, to make just a simple top and design it with this net lace but while working some pieces(the white lace) kept misbehaving until I replaced it with some better fitting ones.
I cut a basic block measurements using bust 32 inches waist 28inches, that's an American size 6 top if am not wrong.
Next was cutting simple interfacing which I used to turn the necklines and loop.
The final process was plating 3 layers of the tulle and net lace on the center front block.
This is an easy diy just to test my efficiency at handling work with fragile fabrics.
What are your experiences with yarn or thin fabrics, let's hear of any funny encounter you may have had, am sure you have a story to tell and probably an abandon project due to frustration from what that fabric did to you 😂😂.
Am sure you heard me well, I said 'what that fabric did to you' a simple personification as if it is human 😁, These things could be both funny and frustrating at the same time.
Let's hear your story.
Thanks for reading mine
