Becoming an ordinary seamstress compared to learning the details of fashion designing are two different things entirely.
Seamstress and tailors around here only learn to mimic existence styles but wanting to become a designer, you have to learn the metrics of pattern making.
Patterns can hence be manipulated into any intended designs to create something new.
In view of this I may not feel fulfilled if I want to learn fashion designing and don't go through these existing books.

'> Here is a very common one we all know. Although most of uneducated designers around here do shy away from working with this pattern since the explanation on how the create pattern is quite complex and you may need extra brain work to understand what to do.
But from my work so far am very much impressed about how accurate the pattern is and the fitting.
The armhole, shoulder darts and all that was drafted in the basic bodice gave a most accurate pattern
Am glad that I chose to do tbis and with fashion learning never ends.
Next time I will use a white pattern so that you can see the detail of this work.
