Hello Hive
To all the beautiful people in the community I send my warmest greeting. It's a pleasure to interact with you through my blog and other means available on the Blockchain.
The times and seasons has not be palatable to everyone lately with the wars and rumours of wars, we all know how one happenings in a particular country can be a source of concern to the other yet the best we can do at all times is to keep holding on and stay positive. A positive attitude helps us overcome even the greatest challenges we have never thought or imagine to overcome
Aside the wars in other places those of us here we have witnessed a long tragic history of insecurity. It's difficult to go out without the fear of getting into troublezz yet we have stayed true and hope that the future will bring better things our way.
Aside from all of these we go about our daily task of farming, sewing and social activities as these are my go to everyday. Today I went visiting a friend of mine who is also a hiver. She has been busy lately with too many outfits to make for her clients and since I didn't have any orders currently I decided to give her a helping hand.
While she was working on the native wears for her sister's wedding I went about working on this dinner date dress needed by a dear friend.
First we made a pattern here using the sisters measurements before transferring it to the red fabric. Every since the valentine's day for this year came, the lady has been dreaming of having a red dress in her wardrope
It seems like alot of ladies are conscious of the type and color of outfit in their closet. It is fulfilling to open your wardrope of clothes and realize that you have a variety of colors that will possibly fit some seasons and occasions too. Hence it's a good idea to try and get varieties of colors we can afford to fill our closet and I wish that for myself too. Having purchased the red color piece of fabrics, the outfit was never ready until today.
Here is the front and back piece.
After that I cut out the lower part of the dress which is a 180° flair here using ber waist and dress length measurements.
Next was the stitching of the different pieces together.
Since she desired am sleeveless dress there was no need for the sleeves.
The key home at the front of the dress made it unique and Beautiful just as she desired. With that being done, the making of this outfit is now completed and a friend's wish of owing a red dress in her closet is now fulfilled.
