Viendo a mi madres cosiendo a mano porque no tiene máquina de coser, no es excusa para no hacerlo. Sobre todo para hacerle a mi hijo su ropita de estar en casa, y que a él le fascina la ropita que le hace su abuelita con mucho amor.

Así que yo también me he puesto hacer una que otras cositas. Y en esta oportunidad les quise compartir esta que realice de una franela de tela elástica, ideal para hacer estos pantaloncillos, ya que mi sobrinita usa pañal todavía y le quedo de maravilla.

Al verlo terminado, recordé que mi madre siempre nos decía que mi abuela nos hacia los pantalones ( o monitos ) para cuando comenzamos a gatear y que cuando los lavabas y extendía en la cuerdas, parecían tijeras abiertas.

Creo que de ahí me vienen ese amor y respeto por todo aquello que hacemos a mano. Es un trabajo que requiere concentración y paciencia, y que aunque se vea fácil y rápido de hacer, muchas veces puede resultar complejo.

Pero en este caso, me encanto el resultado y se le quedara muy lindo y lo sabrá lucir esa pequeña traviesa.

Materiales:
Una franela de tela elástica ( poniendo en práctica la técnica del arte del reciclaje). Hilo, agujas, tijeras . elatica y encaje blanco.

Procedimiento.
Procedure.
Lo primero que hice fue recortar de la franela las dos partes de abajo, sacando dos cuadrados de tela.
The first thing I did was cut the two bottom parts out of the flannel, taking out two squares of fabric.
Tome una de las partes, dejando hacia arriba lo que era la parte de debajo de la franela. La doble y marque con un marcador la figura del leggi, del ancho y largo que lo quería.
Take one of the parts, leaving what was the bottom of the flannel facing up. Fold it and mark with a marker the figure of the leggi, the width and length you wanted it.
Así corte las dos parte, para después coserlas.
So cut the two parts, then sew them.
Empezando por los lados, después las entrepiernas.
Starting at the sides, then the crotches.
Cosí luego o repase la pretina, que antes era el ruedo final de la franela, para después colocarle la elástica con un gancho de pelo.
Then I sewed or went over the waistband, which used to be the final hem of the flannel, and then I attached the elastic with a hair clip.
Y por ultimo hice un lacito con encaje y lo cosí al frente para distinguir la parte delantera del leggi. Así como al final de cada pierna le puse encaje para darle más vistosidad a la pieza.
And finally I made a little bow with lace and sewed it to the front to distinguish the front of the leggi. As well as at the end of each leg I put lace to give the piece more showiness.
Y así me quedo este lindo leggis, para mi querida y traviesa sobrina…
And that's how I keep this cute leggings, for my dear and naughty niece...
