I has a sad, y'all.

So the God Dolls I've been making? I was about to start on a new one, and I pulled out the rest of the doll bodies I had. I had bought these pre-made doll bodies at Big Lots (a discount store, often older/overstock type stuff) in the aughts for 99 cents each (the tag is still on some of the packs that I have).

I only have three left, and I want to make more God Dolls than that. And I had already been debating what to do for one of the Gods that I see as not white - the doll bodies are all pale.

So I went online to see if I could find more of these doll bodies, and hopefully a brown one for Dian Cecht. I figured if I had already bought them at a discount store 15 years ago, that they might not still be manufactured, but I figured maybe someone on ebay or amazon or etsy might have some they were selling? Some craft store somewhere might have them on clearance?

Yeah. I found one on etsy for $14, and one on ebay for $20. Apiece. And that's it.

SOB.

I'm gonna need crypto to moon so I can fund my God Doll supplies. ;) This is like, knitting 3/4 of a sweater and running out of that dye lot of yarn.

I mean, I will try and sew a doll body that is as close to these as I can and maybe I'll do a better job of it than I think I will, but still. Sad face.

OK, so I'm still going to start a new doll today. Three bodies to go before I absolutely have to figure out how to copy the body. Today I get to figure out how to dye yarn! :)
