Hello needleworkers and crafters from all over the world!
Today I will present you the third and final part of my 3d kid's paintings and transformation. Lydia is now 5 years old, but all the works have been made when she was 3 years old.
Take the ride with me!!!
Here Lydia drew a rainbow cave and inside that cave she wrote her name!
And in order to make it more vivid, I crocheted the colored cave and then I embroidered the name
"Mommy, I love these carrots!" she said and I was really glad that she recognised her carrots!
So, I took ribbons, threads and fabric scraps and... I made it! Of course at first I forgot the yellows, but she reminded me to put them in!!
And yes, this was the most difficult painting! At first, I started to crochet it but it was taking so long..
So, I put my embroidery hoop and I made this! I wasn't fully satisfied but when Lydia saw the result she was more than happy!!!
If you have seen my previous post about home Sweet Home you remember that I didnt upload one photo. Yes, this is it! Lydia 's Kindergarten!
And I handstitched the whole painting. Sorry for the resolution !!!
Here is Mrs. Dictatorship, a painting that she drew when she heard about dictatorship and protests in Greece back in period 1967-1974
I adored this painting and the transformation as well!
Here you can see one pig of the 3 pigs fairy tale!!
And here you can see a sneak peak of the process. I cut the fabric scraps..
Then, I handstitched it...
And here is the final patchwork!
That's all folks!!! How do you think?? Send me your comments and show me your love!!!
