Hellow Needleworkers from all around the world!!
An other #throwbackwednesday is here and I am extremely happy since today, September 2nd, is also our weedding anniversary!!
So, one September I met my husband and the next year, September 2nd, we got married! Since then, every September we celebrate our anniversary by drinking a good wine BEER and we see our wedding photos!
I usually make a handmade recipe ice cream, finger foods (own recipe and I have it here if anyone is interested) and have some fun!
And since it is a special day I will publish 2 separate themes:
- AUTUMN IS HERE
- AN EXTREME GIFT FOR MY BEST WOMAN (my sister, Athina, who she married us)
SOOOO, Let's start with AUTUMN
Here you can see an easy crochet necklace that I have done it several times in the past! It consists of crocheted beads, beads, and a flower with double crochet
I really like the autumnal colours and this is why I created this plain necklace with 3 autumnal butterflies, the last of their species to have the last dance before Winter! The design is rather simple and you can find it anywhere in the internet :)
And here, you can see my favourite autumnal food, mushroom. I like the wild species and my mother recognises them but...in order to avoid food poisoning I don't collect on my own and I buy from the market. Here is a rather poisonous mushroom in a bracelet where the soil is full of beads. I made it using double crochet for the brown surface and single crochet for the amigurumi mushroom
And the autumnal photos end here in those earrings!!!
The mushroom was easier than the house because I made the mushroom and then I stitched to the crocheted wired circle.
The landscape was rather difficult because it is really tiny and it had so many details, the house, the smoke, the cloud, the sun and the grass and I had to combine them invisibly so... yes, I am very proud I made it!
Here you see an other photo of the earring with plain background. I have also made a spring earring of this technique and I will share it too when I find that photo
AND TIME FOR NUMBER 2 Theme
I have already mention somewhere that my sister, Athina, is an artist and when she understood that I can make anything she ordered me a necklace with her design and her style of course...
So, let's see one side of it... First I made theflat red surface and the holes as well without cutting anything and then I attached the curves and the crocheted beads..
An other side...
From another point of view...
Curves all around until...
Here you can see it from the front side
And here you can see it from the broadside
I really adore that necklace since I worked as an executor of my sister's idea and design. It took me a week to finish it but I really enjoyed it!!!
So, that's all folks, for today's #throwbackwednesday! How do you think? Send me your comments and show me your love!
