Happy Tuesday my artist friends 🤗 I hope your week is off to a good and strong start.
I was so eager to participate in the #focusyourneedlework challenge that I wanted to kick it off with this project I had pending for myself. It's a casual or sporty lady's sweater, with a hood.
As you know, a few weeks ago I made one for my husband, then mine was missing so that we both had our dream sweaters 😻.
For me it was a challenge this photo thing, to think: How do I take it? From what angle? What do I want to focus?

Yo estaba tan deseosa de participar en el reto #focusyourneedlework que quise iniciarlo con este proyecto que tenía pendiente para mí. Es un suéter casual o deportivo de dama, con capucha.
Como ya saben, hace unas semanas hice uno para mi esposo, entonces faltaba el mío para que ambos tuviéramos nuestros suéteres soñados 😻
Para mí fue un reto esto de las fotos, pensar: ¿Cómo la tomo? ¿Desde qué ángulo? ¿Qué quiero enfocar?
So I thought it was spectacular to test my creativity in terms of photos. I tried different ways: I lay on the floor, I crouched, I stood on my head (no lie 😂), I did my best.
Similarly it occurred to me to draw the pattern and all its pieces in miniature for the photo showing the materials I used.
While doing all this, I realized that also this #focus challenge managed to make my mind focus not only on the photos, I started to realize several things, details...
Así que me pareció espectacular poner a prueba mi creatividad en cuanto a las fotos. Probé distintas formas: me tiré en el suelo, me agachaba, me paré de cabeza (no mentira 😂), hice lo mejor posible.
De igual forma se me ocurrió dibujar el patrón y todas sus piezas en miniatura para la foto que muestra los materiales que usé.
Mientras hacía todo esto, me daba cuenta de que también este reto #focus lograba que mi mente se enfocara no solo en las fotos, empecé a darme cuenta de varias cosas, de detalles...

✨ Also, I observed and noticed that I am able to keep creating, mixing basic patterns, new models. Which makes me have more to offer to my customers 🙌🏻
As I always say, every challenge, contest or community participation I feel that brings me closer to what I want in my sewing career, challenges my limits and makes me grow. It is one more accomplishment for me and for that I am thankful 😻

I made it by cutting the front piece, back piece, hood, sleeves with cuffs and pocket.
Lo hice cortando pieza delantera, trasera, capucha, mangas con sus puños y el bolsillo.
I started by joining at the shoulders, then the sleeves and the sides. All with straight and zigzag. Then I made the hem with straight stitching only.
