Greetings to all needleworkers! I have known this challenge a while ago from and I was overwhelmed. Here are my works which I intended for my girls:Dreamcatchers
(Photo: I spunned the silver thread and wove it like a spider's web which they call as dreamcatcher.)
This danglings are very light despite its size. We have lots of fancy little things in our boxes! Well, having 3 girls (excluding me) speaks for itself.:) All I need to do is dig in our "treasury chest" and choose which ones to customize for this great event!
Why did I chose this design?
First, my daughter is fun of collecting crafted earrings instead of those gold earrings that could possibly endanger your life by these infamous snatchers! She only wear such when she's doing her corporate attire. Other than that, my gift for her on Mother's Day will be one among those cute and pretty earrings that she'd like to carry along on her travels!
Why the dreamcatcher? It's because I wanted her to catch her dreams which has been deprived of her. It pains my heart of her having a child born out of wedlock not that we hated her for that since we're all there for her to support her all the way. It may sound like a taboo in situations such as this but hey, it's the new era guys! Everything happens for a reason and we love my granddaughter so dearly. Perhaps brilliant women becomes dull when it comes to love! She had many suitors but she fell for the 'wrong guy' I should say who haven't even finished a degree despite their riches! We parents, especially the mothers always wanted the best for our children, right?
(Photo: The dangling is a smaller loop with silver thread woven around)
Anyways, she's now in the right age to do what is wrong and what's not. We still managed a good relationship with the other side and they loved my granddaughter as much as we do to the point of spoiling her which I totally disagree. Granny me is the disciplinarian here. Lol! The storm is over though. She's on the move again and practicing her profession as a registered nurse, with further plans to catch her dreams in other places.
These are another pair crocheted earrings too. She said it looked awesome and beautiful and that she liked it better without the beige so I made another one:)
There, how do you like it guys?
I made another dreamcatcher from the 3rd bracelet for my older daughter. She likes it hanging along with the other blings of her crocheted tote bag which I made for her recently. They too, loved to make handcrafted stuffs just like me.
This is my entry for this challenge and I hope you like it guys. My previous works have been featured many times and I really missed those days especially the comments of and my friend
. Let me take this opportunity to make ammends. If I have offended the admin in one way or another, please accept my apologies.
This is all for now, thank you and God bless us all.
