Hello everyone! It was raining here in Negros which prevented me from going out. With that in mind, I chose to finish my week old crochet project.:)
I bought 2 cones of 8 ply multi-purpose thread online. I liked it because it's cotton and raw looking unlike the mercerized cottons that's already polished.
I started from the base with 50 counts single chain, making a boat shaped base and doing a round robin.
I left a vacant space at the center part to make a patch.
I did it that way instead of continuing the usual chaining.
The "patching" looked good.
The layers to make a handle.
I like the 8 ply thread because it looks like thin vines twining to each other.
That's the thin handle to make a sling.
At last it's done!
I placed a cloth flower patch at the center to break the monotony of the color.
There. It will look beautiful when you stuff something inside when it's expanded.
