| I had a general idea of how I wanted the sleeve, but I had never made one before, and the easiest way to carry out this project seemed to be to start from the cuff, so I started with elastic stitch, until I reached the outline of the cuff, then I made increasing rounds to get the stitches needed to continue with the bubble pattern |

| I unpicked the original sleeves to get a rough idea of the armhole shape for the sleeve I had to crochet. Since it was too small, I also used this fabric to add to the sides, so the sleeve shape wasn't exact but approximate. |

| I sewed the sleeves by hand; I would have used my sewing machine, but it's broken, and I missed it for this project. To finish, I knitted the entire perimeter in elastic stitch to create a waistband and thus lengthen it a bit and cover the imperfections of the fabric cut. |
