I know that sewing is not easy, but I was also faced with the fact that choosing buttons is no less a difficult task. The fact is that my friend brought me a summer jacket made of natural fabric.
It was big in size for her. This is a wonderful jacket: light and comfortable. But the buttons were heavy and metal.
I took a special photo of them for you. In my opinion, such buttons are suitable for autumn clothes, but not for light summer clothes. They look too rough on delicate fabric. So I decided to change the buttons. I selected several options from my supplies to match the fabric.
And this is where I got stuck. They all looked great and I didn't know which ones to choose. I even laid them out where the buttons were and took a photo to compare.
And still it was difficult for me to choose the most suitable ones. I liked them all, but I couldn't sew them all together onto the jacket. đ My husband and I thought for a long time and decided to go with red buttons with a picture of a cat. I love them.
Then I decided to add a nice red ribbon to the waistband of the jacket. I love everything bright.
I showed my idea to my husband, but he did not approve of it. âšī¸ He said that the jacket is very stylish and this ribbon will make it look worse.
My husband has very good taste, so I usually listen to his opinion about clothes. Of course, the ribbon makes the jacket completely different in style. But I liked it that way too.
Do you think the red ribbon on the belt spoils the style of this jacket or not? đ¤
