Hello everyone! Today is Monday so I want to tell our story. We were going to one important big event, where there were supposed to be many people. We were thinking what kind of gift we can make for them? We wanted to give them something extraordinary, reminiscent of us. And we came up with! We came up with the idea of knitting funny sheep.
My task was to knit in a circle the body of the sheep and their heads. And my husband's task was to sew on their legs and make their faces. We knew there was a lot of work ahead of us, but there was a lot of time ahead and we weren't worried. My husband loved his part of the job!
Wherever I had the opportunity to knit sheep, I did it. Wherever we went, we always had our work with us. As soon as there was an opportunity to sit on a bench to rest, we took out our cheerful sheep and knitted and sewn.
It was fun work. We figured out that some sheep will stand on four legs, while others on two hind legs.
Unfortunately, a pandemic began and the event was canceled. More precisely, it was postponed to a later date. Nobody knows when it will be; as long as there is a pandemic, of course it will not. Our sheep are sad at home in packages and are waiting in the wings.
We wanted our friends to decide for themselves how they want to use these funny sheep. They can be worn in the form of a brooch, or in the form of a keychain for a backpack and a bag, you can put them on a table or hang on a mirror. We figured out how else you can use them.
My husband sewed a magnet on the back of the sheep. Then he sewed on a beautiful chain. And that's what we got! It is very comfortable!
Now we have a very convenient exit to the balcony and it looks very cool !!!
I hope you are doing well! And I wish you, my dears, a pleasant week!
