Hello beautiful people, how are you all doing on the block chain.hope every one is pretty cool.yeah is veemahfashion and I have come today to share my little ideas on how i made this beautiful straight gown, with gather pleats at the down and structure sleeve.
There are the items I used in achieving this;
---- tape roll
---- ruler
---- tailors chalk
---- measurements book
---- ankara fabric
I folded the material into four using the hip circumference divided by four plus two inches allowance.
I subtracted ten inches from the full length of the gown which I used for the gather pleating at the down. so at the top i divided the shoulder measurements by two and mark, come down by one inch and take nine inches for the armhole.take the mid point,ce in by half inch and curve the armhole.
I come down by one point five inches and placed the burst measurements divided by four plus two inches allowance,then from the top i measured eighteen inches and placed my round waist measurement divided by four plus two inches allowance
Then from the top also I measured twenty- six(26") and placed my round hip measurements divided by four plus two inches allowance there.
Now at the hem line,i measured everything I have at the hip line and place same at the hem line.
I went through my measurements and after which I now cut it out. and their after move to my sewing machine to sew.
I gathered the ten inches by length and fifty- five inches long of the ankara fabric i cut out for gather at the down part
Is a double sleeve, so i drafted the
structure sleeve on a white
paper before cutting it on the fabric.and also cut the long straight sleeve, printed the structure sleeve,join it together with the long sleeve and then attach it to the main body of the clothes.
After joining the different parts of the clothes,it came out looking beautiful guys.
