Saben que hace poco les mostré como renové unos jeans viejos y la borde algunas flores, bueno saben tenia días insistiendo a mi mami en que hiciéramos un sombrero quería su asesoría y conocimiento en costura para que me ayudara a armarlo, así que aproveche las partes que corte del pantalón para hacer este coqueto sombrero, en principio estaba muy insegura acerca si resultaría bien y aunque no es para nada perfecto está bien para ser el primero sombrero que hacemos.
Greetings! You know that recently I showed you how I renovated some old jeans and the edge some flowers, well you know I had been insisting to my mommy for days that we make a hat, I wanted her advice and knowledge in sewing to help me put it together, so I took advantage of the parts I cut from the pants to make this cute hat, at first I was very unsure about whether it would turn out well and although it is not at all perfect it is fine to be the first hat we make.

Lo primero que hice fue buscar algunos patrones en internet y el que más me intereso de momento era uno llamado tipo bucket o pescador, a partir de esta búsqueda tome las medidas que eran más o menos coincidentes en todos los patrones que vi y marque dichos patrones en un papel.
The first thing I did was to look for some patterns on the internet and the one that interested me the most at the moment was one called bucket or fisherman type, from this search I took the measurements that were more or less coincident in all the patterns I saw and marked these patterns on a piece of paper.

Seguidamente procedí a marcar en la tela estos patrones, para ello empleé un color blanco para marcar bien sobre la tela negra y color negro para marcar sobre la tela negra que usaría para el otro lado del sombrero.

Luego procedí a cortar dichos patrones con sumo cuidado corte a través de la marca anteriormente marcada y como no soy tan diestra con la máquina de coser deje esta tarea a mi madre, quien luego de unir los semicírculos y los rectágulos procedió a colocar agujas y alfileres para situar las piezas en su lugar y luego coserlas de forma segura.
Then I proceeded to cut the patterns with great care cutting through the mark previously marked and as I am not so skilled with the sewing machine I left this task to my mother, who after joining the semicircles and rectangles proceeded to place needles and pins to place the pieces in place and then sew them securely.
Una vez cosidas cada una de las caras procedimos a juntarlas para completar el sombrero, para dar algo más de resistencia al ala de este usamos POP no cocido que fue ubicado en medio de las dos caras del sombrero, en este punto ya estaca casi culminado solo faltaba algunas costuras circulares alrededor del área del ala.
Once sewn each of the faces we proceeded to join them together to complete the hat, to give some more resistance to the brim of this we used unbaked POP that was placed in the middle of the two faces of the hat, at this point and stake almost completed only lacked some circular seams around the brim area.
Junto a este también realizamos uno para mi hermano, para este contábamos con unos cuantos retazos de tela con patrones de cohetes de algunos trabajos previos de mi mama y algo de tela color beige, y resulto en este coqueto sombrero.
Along with this one we also made one for my brother, for this one we had a few scraps of fabric with rocket patterns from some of my mom's previous works and some beige fabric, and it resulted in this cute hat.
