• Comenzamos doblando la tela y colocándola en una superficie plana, colocamos la camisa patrón sobre la tela y lo sujetamos con alfileres para que no se mueva, vamos a cortar de la tela colocando el lado que más estira en dirección horizontal, necesitamos sacar dos piezas (1 pieza delantera y 1 pieza trasera), Debemos tener en cuenta que el contorno del cuello de la pieza delantera es más bajo que el de la pieza trasera , al igual en la sisa delantera debemos cortar 1cm hacia adentro.

• We begin by folding the fabric and placing it on a flat surface, we place the pattern shirt on the fabric and pin it so that it does not move, we will cut the fabric by placing the side that stretches the most horizontally, we need to get two pieces (1 front piece and 1 back piece), we must take into account that the contour of the neck of the front piece is lower than the back piece, as in the front armhole we must cut 1cm inward.

• Cortamos las mangas también, coloqué la camisa patrón sobre la tela de manera que me saliera la manga y corte dos piezas iguales para las mangas, cuando cortemos debemos agregar 1 cm de margen de costura.

• We cut the sleeves too, I placed the pattern shirt on the fabric so that the sleeve came out and cut two equal pieces for the sleeves, when we cut we must add 1 cm of seam allowance.

• Después de tener la dos piezas cortadas (Delantera y trasera), enfrentamos los derechos de ambas piezas. Y sujetamos con alfileres las hombros de la camisa, como te muestro en la imagen. Pasamos costura recta y luego zigzag para rematar la costura en los hombros.

• Teniendo los hombros ya cosidos vamos a sujetar las manga a la sisa, me ayude con alfileres y luego fuí a la máquina y pasé costura recta y zigzag para un mejor acabado en los bordes (👀 OJO!!! Muy pendiente de la dirección de la tela, el derecho y el revés me pasó que coloqué la tela al revés y tuve que descoser la manga).

• Having the shoulders already sewn we are going to attach the sleeves to the armhole, I helped myself with pins and then I went to the machine and sewed straight and zigzag stitching for a better finish on the edges (👀 EYE!!!! Very aware of the direction of the fabric, the right and wrong side happened to me that I placed the fabric upside down and had to unpick the sleeve).

• Proseguimos enfrentando los derechos de la camisa con las mangas cosidas y vamos a pasar costura desde el borde de las mangas hasta los costados cerrando los dos lados, acostumbró a pasar costura recta y zigzag.

• Luego volteamos la camisa a lado derecho y le cosí un dobladillo a las mangas y al contorno de la camisa, el dobladillo es es 0,50 cm y va doble.

• We continue facing the right sides of the shirt with the sleeves sewn and we are going to sew from the edge of the sleeves to the sides closing both sides, I used to sew straight and zigzag seams.

• Then we turn the shirt right side out and I sew a hem to the sleeves and to the contour of the shirt, the hem is 0.50 cm and goes double.

• Cortamos una tira de 3 cm de ancho para coser el vivo del cuello, colocamos la tira al contorno del cuello, cosemos con el derecho de la tira hacia el revés del cuello de la camisa, luego de tenerlo cosido vamos a doblar la tira a la mitad, doblemos nuevamente hacia el contorno del cuello y sujetamos con alfileres para luego coser y ya tendríamos el vivo del cuello listo.

• We cut a 3 cm wide strip to sew the collar, we place the strip to the contour of the collar, we sew with the right side of the strip to the back of the collar of the shirt, after having it sewn we will fold the strip in half, we fold it again to the contour of the collar and fasten with pins and then sew and we would have the collar live ready.

• Para finalizar corté un óvalo con la tela blanca y lo cosí justo en el medio de la camisa, le hice una costura decorativa en zigzag por toda la orilla del óvalo.

• Finally, I cut an oval out of the white fabric and sewed it right in the middle of the shirt, making a decorative zigzag stitch along the edge of the oval.
