El Dios de los Cadáveres es un nigromante que ha vivido por mucho tiempo y se ha ganado la fama de "villano" es por ello que un héroe legendario se decide a derrotarlo y no es hasta que lo acorrala que el Dios de los Cadáveres realiza un hechizo que le permitiría escapar de ese mundo, dónde ya no encontraba esperanzas, para encontrar paz en otro. Es así como llega a nuestro mundo y posee el cuerpo de un joven llamado Shinoyama Polka. Desde el momento en el que el Dios de los Cadáveres cruzó a nuestro mundo la serie se desarrolla de manera agradable con un protagonista que hace muchas cosas sin obsesionarse demasiado con la naturaleza isekai de la historia, cabe destacar que aunque el viaje de Polka de un mundo a otro es importante para la trama no se centra principalmente en ello, van ocurriendo muchas cosas en dónde Polka se verá forzado a intervenir con la ayuda de una asesina y un hacker quienes serán los que lo ayudaran a comprender mejor el mundo en el que se encuentra.

Lo interesante de este anime es la historia y los argumentos que se van creando desde una simple huida que irá evolucionando con la posibilidad de que existan personas que hayan viajado antes que el Dios de los Cadáveres o la luchas de ciertos grupos que se desarrollan se irán mezclando con cierto toque de misterio, cuantas más cosas salgan a la luz más cosas se pueden sentir ocultas dejando revelaciones potenciales a medida que avanza la historia. Los personajes con los que Polka se encuentra son muy coloridos y variados, cada personalidad tiene su energía única que aportar a la serie con lo cuál Polka tendrá que adaptarse.
Desde el momento en que es presentado el Dios de los Cadáveres, se nos muestra una representación de Polka que no es la verdad. A medida que pasan los episodios, Dead Mount Death Play nos muestra más y más de su personaje clave para que el público sea testigo. Pero incluso cuando mucho de lo que se revela comienza a apuntar la opinión del espectador en una nueva dirección para el personaje, siempre hay un indicio de que esto tampoco es la verdad. Que Polka es algo más y menos de lo que ha dado a entender.
The interesting thing about this anime is the story and the plots that are created from a simple escape that will evolve with the possibility that there are people who have traveled before the Corpse God or the struggles of certain groups that develop will be mixed with a touch of mystery, the more things come to light more things can feel hidden leaving potential revelations as the story progresses. The characters Polka encounters are very colorful and varied, each personality has their own unique energy to bring to the series which Polka will have to adapt to.
From the moment we are introduced to the Corpse God, we are shown a presentation of Polka that is not the truth. As the episodes go on, Dead Mount Death Play shows us more and more of his key character for the audience to witness. But even when much of what is revealed begins to point the viewer's opinion in a new direction for the character, there is always a hint that this isn't the truth either. That Polka is both something more and less than he has implied.
Aunque los efectos visuales no implementan bien los temas de adultos en la serie, el resto es maravilloso. Aunque el anime no se centra en la acción cuando las balas, los cuchillos o la magia empiezan a volar se vuelve un espectáculo llamativo. Siempre es un placer observar lo poderoso que es Polka cuando se suelta, especialmente en comparación con lo reservado que suele ser su comportamiento. Dead Mount Death Play ofrece un elenco de personajes memorables que dan vida al primer acto de una intrigante historia de fantasía.
Although the visual effects don't implement the adult themes well in the series, the rest is wonderful. Although the anime doesn't focus on the action when bullets, knives or magic start flying it becomes an eye-catching spectacle. It's always a pleasure to watch how powerful Polka is when he lets loose, especially compared to how reserved his demeanor usually is. Dead Mount Death Play offers a cast of memorable characters that bring the first act of an intriguing fantasy story to life.
