Hola de nuevo! Hoy traigo un post para que saquemos los pañuelos y lloremos un poco. Siento que gran parte de los animes tienen momentos bastante tristes y gran parte de estas tristezas son las muertes de los personajes que uno aprecia. Sí, la muerte es triste generalmente, aunque al ver una muerte injusta o mal desarrollada no nos pone tristes, sino que nos causan otro tipo de emociones como rabia o desilusión.
Por ende, aquí habrán momentos que además de darnos tristeza no nos esperábamos en la trama, o también la esperábamos pero nos dolió. Les digo que yo soy una persona extremadamente llorona y me pongo triste fácilmente. Por mí serían "100 muertes tristes del anime" pero sería un post eterno.
Recuerden que este es un post subjetivo, capaz algunos de estos momentos no te habrá conmovido y está bien. Esta no es la verdad absoluta.

Hello again! Today I bring a post for us to take out the tissues and cry a little. I feel that most of the anime have some pretty sad moments and most of these sadnesses are the deaths of the characters that one appreciates. Yes, death is generally sad, although seeing an unjust or badly developed death does not make us sad, but causes other types of emotions such as anger or disappointment.

#8 Muerte de Ace | Ace Death
(One Piece)
Esta muerte me recuerda a la de otro personaje que puse en cierto top. Sin embargo esta es más lógica y triste. Ace era un personaje muy bueno, además de ser muy inteligente y amable. Defendía a las personas que más quería, molestándose muy fácilmente cuando alguien los lastimaba de cualquier forma.
This death reminds me of another character I put in a certain top. However, this one is more logical and sad. Ace was a very good character, besides being very intelligent and kind. He defended the people he loved the most, getting upset very easily when someone hurt them in any way.
Esta muerte marcó a Luffy de una manera increíble, ya que no lo pudo salvar a pesar de todo el esfuerzo para evitarlo, Ace muere al ser golpeado por Akainu defendiendo a su hermano. A partir de ahí ODIÉ A AKAINU CON TODAS LAS FUERZAS DE MI SER. Ace fue un personaje realmente querido no solo por los mismos personajes del anime, sino por todos los que vimos One Piece. Yo genuinamente lloré HORRIBLE como si esa tragedia la viviera en carne propia.
This death marked Luffy in an incredible way, since he could not save him despite all the effort to avoid it. Ace dies when he is beaten by Akainu defending his brother. From then on I HATED AKAINU WITH ALL THE FORCES OF MY BEING. Ace was a character really loved not only by the same characters of the anime, but by all of us who saw One Piece. I genuinely cried HORRIBLE as if I lived that tragedy in my own flesh.
#7 Muerte de L | L Death
(Death Note)
L se ganó el cariño de todos, era un chico inteligente, extraño y diferente a lo que se acostumbraba. Hizo una competencia intelectual con Kira que, si no fuese por el ingenio de Light este hubiese descubierto toda la verdad. En un momento de la historia, L considera a Light como su amigo y eso es algo que da algo de dolor porque sabíamos que Light se estaba corrompiendo y haría cualquier cosa para no ser descubierto.
L won everyone's affection, he was a smart boy, strange and different from what he was used to. He made an intellectual competition with Kira that, if it wasn't for Light's ingenuity, he would have discovered the whole truth. At one point in the story, L considers Light as his friend and that is something that gives some pain because we knew that Light was corrupting himself and would do anything not to be discovered.
Light hizo una estrategia toda loca y rebuscada (pero buena) para borrar sus recuerdos sobre la Death Note, manipulando a la shinigami Rem para que sea ella quien mate a L. Al recuperar sus recuerdos se ejecuta el plan ocasionando que a los segundos L lentamente vaya cayendo, producto de un ataque cardíaco. Light lo sostiene justo antes de caer al suelo, al principio parece triste por lo que pasó, pero luego vemos una mirada asesina que destapa la estabilidad mental del personaje. Hay que tomar en cuenta que L consideraba a Light como su amigo y que en esos pocos segundos antes de morir, lo vio a los ojos, viendo como su "amigo" era el responsable de todo. Esto marca un antes y un después en la historia, algo impactante y triste.
Light made a strategy all crazy and far-fetched (but good) to erase his memories about the Death Note, manipulating the shinigami Rem so that it is she who kills L. This marks a before and after in the story, something shocking and sad.
#6 Muerte de Kaori | Kaori Death
(Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso)
Vi este anime hace unos años porque unos amigos me dijeron que trataba de una violinista. Realmente lloré la primera vez que lo vi, y también lloré hace unas semanas que lo volví a ver. Kaori era una chica hermosa, con la particularidad de que toca de una manera apasionada, y que toca por gusto, no por competencia. Es extrovertida, algo diferente a Kousei que es estricto y tímido. Kousei y Kaori comienzan un viaje de autodescubrimiento hermoso, él se va desenvolviendo más.
I saw this anime a few years ago because some friends told me it was about a violinist. I really cried the first time I saw it, and I also cried a few weeks ago when I saw it again. Kaori was a beautiful girl, with the particularity that she plays in a passionate way, and that she plays for pleasure, not for competition. Esto no podía faltar. Estos guerreros de élite siempre dieron la talla al ser el rango más alto en el santuario. Son los más poderosos, capaz de alcanzar la velocidad de la luz y dominar hasta el séptimo sentido. Capaces de trasmitir su alma y dominar técnicas de lucha, estos 12 caballeros son todo lo que queríamos ser de niños (y actualmente también, por qué no?).
This could not be missed. These elite warriors always made the grade as the highest rank in the sanctuary. En la saga de Hades, vemos como los caballeros de bronce llegan a escena, pero el panorama se ve muy malo. Romper el muro de los lamentos se ve imposible, no avanzaban nada. Aquí, los caballeros dorados llegan con su brillantes armaduras. Sagitario lanza una flecha, acumulando cosmo y ocasionando un brillo extremadamente fuerte. #4 Muerte de Menma | Menma Death

A partir de aquí me fue dificil escoger, porque la verdad todo lo que puesto aquí me ha dolido al momento de verlo. Sin embargo, siento que al llegar aquí las muertes aunque sea, conmovieron al corazón más frío. Y aunque no sea algo tan largo de explicar como las otras, la profundidad emocional de esta muerte alcanza niveles increíbles.

El momento más desgarrador es cuando sin rencor, feliz y en paz, se despide por última vez de sus amigos, algo que tenía que tenía que pasar y que hizo llorar a sus amigos (y a los espectadores). Un final extremadamente triste.
We sensed this death from the beginning, yet knew that it would hurt greatly at that moment. There is not much to say about this death, since we see moments that give symbolism of how he died. He lives beautiful moments with the characters, feels their hugs a little heavier, is joyful, and spreads his happiness wherever he goes. The most heartbreaking moment is when without rancor, happy and in peace, he says goodbye for the last time to his friends, something that had to happen and made his friends (and the spectators) cry. #3 La muerte de Jiraiya | Jiraiya Death
(Naruto)
Ya había hecho un top (el cual pueden ver aquí) y justo esta muerte estaba en mis momentos favoritos de este anime. Naruto nos dejó momentos legendarios, entre ellos muchas muertes que nos dejaron marcados. Una de ellas es la muerte de Jiraiya. Él descubre la ubicación del supuesto líder de Akatsuki, a lo que emprende un viaje a la Aldea de la Lluvia. Antes de partir comparte con Tsunade la cual está en desacuerdo con él haga ese viaje, pero ya la decisión está tomada.
I had already made a top (which you can see here) and just this death was in my favorite moments of this anime. Naruto left us with legendary moments, among them many deaths that left their mark on us. One of them is the death of Jiraiya. He discovers the location of the supposed leader of Akatsuki, to which he undertakes a journey to the Rain Village. Before leaving he shares with Tsunade who disagrees with him to make that trip, but the decision is already made.
Jiraiya llega y nota que hay otros shinobia conocidos con los ojos del Rinnegan, entre ellos su antiguo alumno, Yahiko. Jiraiya se encuentra con los 6 Pains pero es casi imposible, está perdido. Uno de los Pain le destroza la garganta. Descubre la verdad, ninguno es el verdadero líder de Akatsuki como tal. Lo más triste son los flashbacks, creyendo que vivió una vida de fracasos. "Tsunade siempre me rechazó, no pude detener a mi amigo (Orochimaru), fracasé protegiendo a mi alumno y a mi maestro", cree que su historia es inservible. Sin embargo, comienza tener flashbacks positivos con las personas mencionadas. Al ver que su muerte es inminente deja un código en Fugaku con la verdad. Luego, le dan un golpe final del cual Fugaku logra escapar. Esta muerte fue esencial en el anime ya que marcó un punto fundamental. Sirvió para que Naruto madurara emocionalmente, entrenara arduamente el modo sabio y descubriera la verdad, pudiendo derrotar a Pain.

As he sinks into the water, he thinks of the final episode of his story, dying with a smile on his face. I AM CRYING FOR HELP.
This death was essential in the anime since it marked a fundamental point. It served for Naruto to mature emotionally, to train hard the wise way and to discover the truth, being able to defeat Pain.
#2 La muerte de Nagisa | Nagisa Death
(Clannad)
Si tu objetivo en la vida es llorar, Clannad es tu anime. La historia de amor entre Tomoya y Nagisa se construye bien. Nagisa es muy tímida, callada y además se enferma siempre (como yo jaja). Ayuda a que Tomoya le encuentre un significado más bonito a las cosas, porque ella contrasta su personalidad pero se complementan de una manera linda. Su historia de amor se desarrolla, se casan y ella queda embarazada.
If your goal in life is to cry, Clannad is your anime. The love story between Tomoya and Nagisa is well constructed. Nagisa is very shy, quiet and also always sick (like me haha). It helps Tomoya to find a nicer meaning to things, because she contrasts her personality but they complement each other in a nice way. Their love story develops, they get married and she gets pregnant.
Al saber el estado tan frágil de la salud de Nagisa, Tomoya y sus padres se angustian ya que es un embarazo de alto riesgo. En el momento del parto está acompañada por su esposo y sus padres, pero Nagisa no puede más, está muy débil. Tomoya comienza a recordar su historia juntos, los momentos hermosos que pasó con ella y como se convirtió en el motivo de su felicidad. Al final del nacimiento de Ushio, Nagisa le dice a Tomoya que quiere descansar, cerrando los ojos para darse cuenta que murió. Esto trae muchas repercusiones, ya que Tomoya cae en las adicciones, Ushio vive con sus abuelo y hereda la enfermedad de su madre. AY NO TODO ES TRISTE, QUE CRUEL ES ESTE ANIME. :(

#1 Muerte de Maes Hughes | Maes Hughes Death

Esta muerte a mí me destrozó. No solo por el peso emocional del momento, sino por todo lo que llevó más adelante. La muerte de Maes Hughes nos persigue durante toda la historia. Este personaje es simpático, gracioso, ocurrente y tiene un infinito amor hacia su familia, además de ser una persona bastante leal. Hughes ha acumulado mucha información, sabe sobre como ocurrió el ataque en Ishval y otras guerras al estar en circulos para crear Piedras Filosofales. Es amedrentado por una mujer que al saber que sabe mucho lo ataca, pero él se defiende y escapa.
This death destroyed me. Not only because of the emotional weight of the moment, but because of everything that it carried later. Maes Hughes' death haunts us throughout history. This character is nice, funny, witty and has an infinite love for his family, besides being a quite loyal person. Hughes has accumulated a lot of information, he knows about how the attack on Ishval and other wars occurred by being in circles to create Philosopher's Stones. He is frightened by a woman who, knowing she knows a lot, attacks him, but he defends himself and escapes.
Llega a una cabina telefónica para informar sobre lo que descubrió. Primero intenta llamar a Bradley pero al pensarlo mejor no lo hace. Decide llamar a Roy para informarle, pero la línea está defectuosa por otra que está siendo usada afuera. Hughes ve la imagen de la teniente Ross apuntándolo con un arma. Hughes se da cuenta que es una impostora por un pequeño detalle facial, la impostora materializa un lunar. Luego cambia de forma por la esposa de él, Gracia. Hughes está atónito, no puede hacerle daño a la imagen de su esposa. Él ruega que no lo asesine ya que su familia lo espera en casa. La impostora no lo duda y lo asesina a disparos. Vemos como Mustang atiende la llamada pero nadie le contesta, para luego mostrarnos es cuerpo de Hughes desangrandose, llenando de sangre la foto con su familia.

Hughes realizes she is an impostor because of a small facial detail; the impostor materializes a mole. She then changes shape for his wife, Grace. Hughes is stunned; he cannot harm his wife's image. He begs not to be killed as his family awaits him at home. The imposter does not hesitate and shoots him dead. We see how Mustang answers the call but no one answers, to later show us Hughes' body bleeding, filling with blood the picture with his family.

- Un momento desgarrador es en el funeral de Hughes. Se encuentran integrantes del ejercito de Amestris, amigos y familiares. Al colocar el ataud y luego enterrarlo bajo tierra, su pequeña hija no entiende porque lo entierran si él tiene mucho trabajo. Llorando a gritos, desesperada, ruega para que no entierren a su papá.
- One heartbreaking moment is at Hughes funeral. Members of the Amestris army, friends and family are there. As he places the casket and then buries it in the ground, his little daughter does not understand why he is buried if he has a lot of work. Crying loudly, in desperation, she begs not to have her father buried.
- Roy y Riza hablan frente a la lápida de Hughes. Hablan sobre la transmutación humana y entiende lo que sintieron los protagonistas al intentar trasmutar a su madre. Roy dice que hay que irse porque al parecer empezará a llover. Riza está confundida porque el día está claro, pero ve a Roy comenzar a llorar para afirmar que sí, está lloviendo.
- Roy and Riza talk in front of Hughes' tombstone. They talk about human transmutation and understand what the protagonists felt when they tried to transmute their mother.
