Anime from my Childhood| Angel la Niña de las Flores [Eng/Esp]

Hana no Ko Run Run, or "Angel the Flower Girl " is an anime from the late 1970s and early 1980s, which tells the story of Angel, a teenage girl descended from the fairies (the flower spirits) with a very special mission... to find the flower of the seven colors.

Happy #hive-con day beautiful people, it's my first time in this community and as I recently found out that the "cartoons " I used to watch as a kid were really anime I couldn't miss the opportunity to participate (right on the line) in this cool initiative that invites us to remember the anime that marked our childhood.

So, assuming the risk of my ID rolling deep underground, my choice for the initiative is "Angel the Flower Girl ", an anime of the Shojo genre (me, trying to impress you with my newly acquired knowledge) broadcasted by Venezolana de Televisión channel in the 80s.

By the time it finally reached our screens I was 9 or 10 years old and children's programming was really scarce, so between not having many options like in the capital where they had several TV channels, Angel was simply charming, so it became my favorite, and you'll see why!

Angel is an anime from the late 70's, which first saw the light in Japan on February 9, 1979 and said goodbye to the screens on February 8, 1980. As a representative of the Shojo genre, it was aimed at a teenage audience, specifically girls.

Created by Shiro Jimbo and produced by Toei Animation, it tells in 50 chapters the story of Angel, a 15-year-old girl who is completely unaware of what lies behind her origin.

Descendant of the vegetation fairies (flower spirits), in the celebration of her 15th birthday, she is visited by two characters that stole my heart completely; Roper and Katty, a little dog and a white cat, who were in charge of informing Angel of her important mission... to find the flower of the seven colors. A magical flower that has the power to maintain the balance in the fairy kingdom.

To fulfill her mission Angel must say goodbye to her grandparents and in the company of Ruper and Katty travel the world in search of the flower of the seven colors and to help her in her mission they gave her "the magic key ", a brooch that when projected to a flower allows her to wear any outfit she needs. Super cool, isn't it?

Of course, being aimed at teenage girls there must be a bit of romance and the person in charge of this is Celli, (a beautiful young man with whom Angel ends up falling in love) who appears in each chapter unexpectedly, and at the end of the chapter gives seeds of different flowers to each person who has been touched by Angel's kindness during her journey.

And as in every good story, the antagonist character cannot be missing, Jimbo introduces us to the evil Malina, who accompanied by her henchman Boris wants to take possession of the flower of the seven colors to become the queen of fairyland.

A story full of magic, love and kindness that ends with Angel finding the flower of seven colors just where it all began... in her home. And just at that moment her magical origin is revealed to her and she discovers that Ruper and Katty were two flower spirits, who in front of her eyes take their fairy bodies.

And Celli? Well, he was nothing more and nothing less than the prince of the fairyland and of course they end up together, thus ending a simply magical story!

I think at this point I don't have to explain much why a 9 year old girl was completely fascinated by an anime like Angel the Flower Girl, because it had it all!

Fairies, a magic brooch that gave her the most spectacular costumes and even additional skills depending on the costume she wore, since it wasn't just a simple dress, it could have been a gala costume or a mountaineering outfit that immediately made her the best in the world.

And what girl does not dream of having a brooch with such powers? Today I would like to have it to wear all kinds of costumes and have all the skills of Angel, who was a fireman, a doctor, a nurse, an airplane pilot and even a racing driver!

On the other hand, there was the theme of love, seen from a completely different perspective than the one we can see today. A sweet love, more of a helpmate, tender to the max and super romantic. And yes, I pined for Celli just like Angel and I would have easily fought with her for her love!

After so many years I can tell you about Angel without missing a single detail of its lyrics. That to give you an idea of how much I loved it and undoubtedly marked my life to this day, so as soon as I heard about the initiative I did not hesitate to participate, because Angel is an anime that everyone should know.

And well guys, I don't know when I'll say goodbye because it's been light years since I've seen an anime and I don't even know the new ones, except for one or two that my children watch, but if this kind of initiatives are launched you'll see me here. Or why not, maybe you will see me showing you some of the anime that accompanied me during a good part of my childhood and adolescence, at least for general culture!

Hana no Ko Run Run, o "Angel la Niña de las Flores" es un animé de finales de los 70 y principio de los 80, que cuenta la historia de Angel, una adolescente descendiente de las hadas (los espíritus de las flores) con una misión muy especial... encontrar la flor de los siete colores.

Feliz día gente linda de #hive-con, es mi primera vez en ésta comunidad y como recientemente me enteré que las "caricaturas" que solía ver de niña eran realmente animes no podía perder la oportunidad de participar (justo en la raya) en ésta genial iniciativa que nos invita a recordar los animes que marcaron nuestra infancia.

Así que asumiendo el riesgo de que mi cédula ruede hasta lo más profundo del subsuelo, mi elección para la iniciativa es "Angel la Niña de las Flores", un animé del género Shojo (yo, tratando de impresionarlos con mis conocimientos recién adquiridos) transmitida por el canal Venezolana de Televisión en la década de los 80.

Para el momento en que finalmente llegó a nuestras pantallas yo tendría 9 o 10 años y la programación infantil era realmente poca, así que entre que no tenía muchas opciones como en la capital donde contaban con varios canales de televisión, Angel era simplemente encantadora, por lo que se convirtió en mi favorita, y ya verán por qué!

Angel es un anime de finales de los 70, que vió la luz por primera vez en Japón el 9 de Febrero de 1979 y se despidió de las pantallas el 8 de Febrero de 1980. Como representante del género Shojo, estaba dirigida a una audiencia adolescente, específicamente a las chicas.

Creada por Shiro Jimbo de la mano de la productora Toei Animation, cuenta en 50 capítulos la historia de Angel, una adolescente de 15 años quien desconoce por completo lo que se esconde detrás de su procedencia.

Descendiente de las hadas de la vegetación (espíritus de las flores), en la celebración de sus 15 años, es visitada por dos personajes que se robaron mi corazón por completo; Roper y Katty, un perrito y una gatita blanca, quiénes fueron los encargados de informar a Angel de su importante misión... encontrar la flor de los siete colores. Una flor mágica que tiene el poder de mantener el equilibrio en el reino de las hadas.

Para cumplir su misión Angel debe despedirse de sus abuelos y en compañía de Ruper y Katty recorrer el mundo en búsqueda de la flor de los siete colores y para ayudarla en su misión le hicieron entrega de "la llave mágica", un broche que al ser proyectado hacia una flor le permite vestir cualquier atuendo que necesite. Súper cool no?

Por supuesto al ser dirigida a chicas adolescentes debe haber un poco de romance y el encargado de ésto es Celli, (un jóven hermoso de quien Angel termina enamorada) quien aparece en cada capítulo de forma inesperada, y al final de éste entrega semillas de diferentes flores a cada persona que ha sido tocada por la bondad de Angel durante su recorrido.

Y como en toda buena historia no puede faltar el personaje antagónico, Jimbo nos presenta a la malvada Malina, quien acompañada por su secuaz Boris quiere apoderarse de la flor de los siete colores para así convertirse en la reina del país de las hadas.

Una historia llena de magia, amor y bondad que finaliza con Angel encontrando la flor de siete colores justamente donde todo comenzó... en su hogar. Y justo en ése momento se le revela su mágico origen y descubre que Ruper y Katty eran dos espíritus de las flores, quienes delante de sus ojos toman sus cuerpos de hadas.

Y Celli? Pues era nada más y nada menos que el príncipe del país de las hadas y por supuesto que terminan juntos, para poner de esa manera fin a una historia simplemente mágica!

Creo que en éste punto no tengo que explicar mucho el porqué una niña de 9 años se sentía completamente fascinada por un anime como Angel la Niña de las Flores, y es que lo tenía todo!

Hadas, un broche mágico que le proporcionaba de los trajes más espectaculares e incluso habilidades adicionales según el traje que portara, ya que no se trataba de simples vestidos, pues bien podía tratarse de un traje de gala como uno de alpinista que de inmediato la convertía en la mejor del mundo.

Y qué niña no sueña con tener un broche con semejantes poderes? Hoy mismo quisiera tenerlo para lucir todo tipo de trajes y contar con todas las habilidades de Angel, quien fue bombero, medico, enfermera, piloto de aviones y hasta de carreras!

Por otro lado estaba el tema del amor, visto desde una perspectiva completamente diferente a la que actualmente se puede ver. Un amor dulce, más de compañía de ayuda, tierno hasta más no poder y súper romántico. Y sí, yo suspiraba por Celli al igual que Angel y fácilmente me hubiese peleado con ella por su amor!

De Angel después de tantos años puedo contarles la canción sin fallar en un solo detalle de su letra. Eso para que se den una idea de lo mucho que la amaba y sin lugar a dudas marcó mi vida hasta el día de hoy, por eso en cuanto supe de la iniciativa no dudé en participar, porque Angel es un anime que todos deberían conocer.

Y bueno chicos, me despido no sé hasta cuando porque hace años luz que no sé lo que es ver un anime y mucho menos me conozco los nuevos, salvo uno que otro que ven mis hijos, pero si se lanzan este tipo de iniciativas me verán por aquí. O por qué no? Quizá me vean mostrándoles un poco de los animes que me acompañaron durante buena parte de mi niñez y adolescencia, por lo menos para cultura general!
