In today's podcast episode, I encouraged folks to, "draw or create a visual for your own life showing how morals, ethics, values, and any other important driving forces in your life work for you."
I shared this on Instagram, but I think it deserves a bit more discussion added to it, so I'm going to add the visual and some discussion here.

The first thing this exercise helped me to clarify are all the pieces and parts that I call on in order to take action. If you are only outcome oriented and you aren't enjoying the process, even if your process is shorter or less formal than mine, you are likely setting yourself up for disappointment because outcomes come and go so quickly that you need to enjoy the process to be happy.
Second, it was interesting for me to situate these things in an order that felt accurate. I really struggled with where vision/mission went (should they be on separate lines or does one have to have the other to exist and be meaningful) and do values support vision and mission or do they arise out of vision and mission. I decided on the latter but you may wish to take a completely different approach.
As I approached this specific iteration of this framework, I decided to add in mindset because I am becoming so much more aware of how important mindset is to our actions and intentions.
What would your framework look like?
