El primer paso es medirle el cuello a tu gatito, para saber el largo del collar. El de Manchas, midió 26cm y utilicé 15 metros de hilo, divididos en tiras de 3 metros.

Ok, ahora empezamos haciendo nudos en el broche, con los hilos de 3 metros, de manera que nos queden de 1.5 metros al doblarlos por la mitad.
La misma secuencia de hilos que nos queden a la izquierda debemos tenerla a la derecha, así cuando se unan los tejidos tendremos las flechitas.

El tejido chevron o flecha hacia abajo, se basa en nudos izquierdos y derechos, al aprendernos esos dos nudos básicos de macramé podremos realizar muchas ideas y diversas formas en el tejido.
The chevron weave or downward arrow, is based on left and right knots, by learning these two basic macramé knots we can make many ideas and different shapes in the weaving.
Elegí el color morado y rosado, porque resaltarían con los ojos amarillos de Manchas y su bonito color de pelaje blanco y negro.

El tejido chevron lo pueden realizar más grueso o más fino depende de la cantidad de hilos que coloquen, o si quieren utilizar más colores solo deben alternar los colores, de manera que, como mencioné anteriormente, queden el mismo orden de derecha a izquierda, que de izquierda a derecha.

Para que su collar quede más resistente pueden coser con aguja e hilo al final y luego quemar con un encededor para que la cera termine de pegar por dentro del collar.
