SE trata de una inofensiva libélula, la he hecho por sugerencia de un usuario espectacular en sus creaciones:
Process
For this work we will use:
- Tweezers
- Pliers
- Pair of scissors
- Knives
- Copper
- PC parts
Para este trabajo usaremos:
- Pinzas
- Tenazas
- Tijeras
- Navajas
- Cobre
- Piezas de PC
I did not know how to start the body of the dragonfly, I had so much material but some did not convince me, in the end I chose to use the plate from an old CD player. As it was already cut to the size I needed it was easier to use, I only used half so I cut it with a saw.
No sabia como empezar el cuerpo de la libélula, tenia tanto material pero algunos no me convencían, al final elegí usar la placa de un viejo reproductor de cds. Como ya estaba cortada a la medida que necesitaba fue mas facil de usar, solo usé la mitad así que la corté con una sierra.
To make the wings we will use the circuitry that the hard drives have. I like to use this material because it gives a cyberpunk aesthetic to the insects. We cut 4 aluminum can molds and with them we will get 4 wings.
Para hacer las alas utilizaremos la banda de circuitos que poseen los discos duros.Me gusta usar este material porque le da una estética cyberpunk a los insectos. Cortamos 4 moldes de lata de aluminio y con ellos sacaremos 4 alas.
Then we make the limbs and for them we use the copper wire. We cut the pieces in equal parts and with a precision tweezers we began to mold them until they were left as a dragonfly has the extremities.
Luego hacemos las extremidades y para ellos utilizamos el alambre de cobre. Cortamos los pedazos en partes iguales y con una pinza de precisión comenzamos a moldear hasta dejarlas tal cual tiene las extremidades una libélula.
Now we begin to put the parts together. First we glue the wings with super glue. Then we continue with the limbs. To add more detail to the body, I added a CD player and other parts.
Ahora comenzamos a armar las partes. Primero pegamos las alas con super pegamento. Despues seguimos con las extremidades. Para colocar mas detalles al cuerpo, agregué el lector de un reproductor de CDS y otras partes.
FINAL WORK
This is how the final work has been, once I proceeded to join the parts, I think it was very realistic with this steampunk touch that it is created with recycled materials. This is one of the flying insects that I like the most, as a child I thought they were literally biplane planes because of the shape of their wings. I hope you liked the process and thanked for giving me the idea. I no longer have internet in my house, because what makes it difficult for me to publish more often now, is added the fact of the blackouts in Venezuela, but I still continue on.
