On Saturday afternoon the contractor was back. We had moved the furniture in the dining room to put pressure shims between the wall and the flooring to try to slow the cracks from growing.
We did it again on Saturday, adding another couple shims. Then he headed to the root cellar and after moving everything back I went to the couch to watch videos.
He got another section of shelving done, so the back wall is finished. Next he will do a full sized section on the east wall adjacent to this one he just finished.
Then the shelving rises from the floor to accommodate the potato box and the sand box for storing root vegs. One section is ½ and the last one is ¼.
Then we install hooks from the ceiling for hanging onions and garlic and the room is done. I plan to put a small table in the center for putting things on, before they are put away.
