¡Reciclaje Creativo Challenge ha vuelto! || Creative Recycling Challenge is back!

Máscara protectora elaborada con botella de refresco./ Protective mask made with soda bottle.

Hola queridos amigos de la colmena. Hive account@jennyzer está llevando a cabo un concurso sobre el reciclaje apoyada por Hive account@mavis16 que con mucho gusto me presté a participar. Enseguida pensé en todas esas botellas de refresco que tardan tanto tiempo en desintegrarse en el planeta y que podemos reutilizarlas para hacer alguna manualidad.

Hello dear friends of the beehive @Jennyzer is running a recycling contest supported by Hive account@mavis16 which I was happy to participate in. I immediately thought of all those soda bottles that take so long to disintegrate on the planet and that we can reuse them to make some crafts.

Para hacer esta careta protectora necesitamos:

1 Botella de 3 litros de refresco,
Tijeras,
Bies,
Tela elástica del mismo color del bies,
Pistola de Silicón y
Barras de Silicón.

To make this protective mask we need:

1 3-liter bottle of soda,
Scissors,
Bies,
Elastic fabric of the same color as the bias,
Silicone Gun and
Silicone rods.

Recortamos la base de la botella plástica y la parte superior. Con la parte del cuerpo de la botella hacemos esta máscara. Le hacemos un corte vertical y le damos forma redondeada en la parte de las esquinas de abajo con un plato. Luego procedemos a colocar el bies por el orillo pero menos en la parte de arriba.

We cut out the base of the plastic bottle and the top. With the body part of the bottle we make this mask. We make a vertical cut and give it a rounded shape in the bottom corners with a plate. Then we proceed to place the bias on the edge but less on the top.

Para la parte de arriba, cortamos una tira de 3 ctm. de la tela elástica y mediremos la circunferencia de nuestra cabeza y esa será la medida de la tira. La pegamos en el orillo de la botella y pegamos los dos extremos para cerrarla. Ella quedará a la medida de tu cabeza y no se bajará por ser tela elástica.

For the top, we cut a 3 ctm. strip from the elastic fabric and measure the circumference of our head and that will be the measurement of the strip. We stick it on the edge of the bottle and glue the two ends to close it. It will fit your head and will not come down because it is elastic.

Para mi es más cómodo usar esta careta que el tapa bocas ya que me da la sensación de asfixia y me hace sudar en la parte de la boca. Con esta máscara no tengo ese problema porque le entra aire por los lados y puedo usarla con mis anteojos puesto. Este fue el motivo que me llevó a pensar en hacer una careta reciclable. Espero les guste mi reciclaje.

For me it is more comfortable to use this mask than the mouthpiece because it gives me the feeling of suffocation and makes me sweat in my mouth. With this mask I don't have that problem because it gets air from the sides and I can use it with my glasses on. This was the reason that led me to think about making a recyclable mask. I hope you like my recycling.
