Greetings my dear Hiveans! How's the situation out there? It seems that our situation is getting harder. The news says thatthis covid19 virus has mutated and more contagious this time. This is the reason why we're now required to wear masks and face shields at the same time. It's extra burden in our pockets, which gave me the idea to buy one set (shades and shield) only. My purpose is to make a pattern of the shield from my transparent office folders.
I only need to trace the pattern as shown above.
Then cut the pattern. Since we could not longer use sun shades with all the face covers, I even plan to use the colored ones in case it's hot outside, to protect our eyes from the glaring sun.
See, we can use the same frame and we only need to change the shield in case it is damaged or torn out. Accidents often occur the least we expected such as sitting and folding that could damage and deform your shields. If we know how to make use of our hard plastics at home, so much the better. All we need to do is detach the shield and wash it thoroughly then put on your DIY face shield. We can save a lot instead of buying new ones. But, if there are no important things to do outside, better stay at home to avoid contamination.
