Saludos mis queridos amigos lectores, el día de hoy quiero presentarles una nueva escultura realizada con desechos electrónicos! Algo que además de ayudar al ambiente porque le damos vida a objetos que ya no sirven, nos permitirá tener una pieza de arte muy linda y llamativa.

I got a few pieces from a couple of LED bulbs that burned out and from an old floppy disk drive, at first I wanted to make a mini robot that lifted like a heavy stone, but as I was putting it together it formed that shape like a runner and the scene from the movie Forrest Gump came to my mind.

Obtuve unas cuantas piezas de un par de bombillos led que se quemaron y de una vieja unidad de Disquete, en un principio quise hacer como un mini robot que levantara como una piedra pesada, pero mientras armaba se fue formando esa forma como de corredor y me vino a la mente la escena de la película Forrest Gump.

Forrest had a reason to run... but my robot didn't, so to give my little friend a reason to run I decided to use those pieces that is like a ring with wires around it (I don't know what it's called XD) that if you mold it a little bit it takes the shape of a fearsome intergalactic spider.

Forrest tenía un motivo por el cual correr… pero mi robot no, así que para darle un motivo por el cual correr a mi pequeño amigo decidí utilizar esas piezas que es como un aro con cables rodeándolo (No se cómo se llama XD) que si lo moldeas un poco adquiere la forma de una temible araña intergaláctica.
