When The Big Guy brought me this:
I had hoped it would become something other than the monstrous Yellow Underwing Moth that eats everything in sight.
Alas, I was wrong.
I put Icky Fred in a jar on June 15, covered him with dirt and put it in some bushes near my front door so I wouldn't forget about it. I checked on him a few days later. Here's what it looked like.
Today, I checked on it!
Both of us, The Big Guy and me, groaned. Gosh darnit. I couldn't bring myself to leave it in the jar though. I had to let it free. When I begin to gripe and moan about my carrots and lettuce getting munched later, remind me it's my foster child, Icky Fred.
He was a good 1.5 inches, or 3.81 cm when he flew away to wreck all the world. I'm sorry about that. I promise it will never happen again.
Thank you, so much, for reading and I always welcome your comments!
Take a look at @Labyrinths when you have a moment, and join our labyrinth community on HIVE if you're interested. We just started it, so there's not much going on yet, but if you're ever in the need for a "down to earth" (but not too earthy) psychic, you can find me online at Brigid's Aether.
