[En-Es] Our neighbors, the angel bees. Nuestras vecinas, las abejas...

Hello dear Hiveans.
Months ago I wrote an article about two species of stingless bees: the tetragonisca angustula and the plebeia. To write about them I had to investigate, and learned many things. For example, that the tetragonisca angustula is native to the tropics, that it produces a more fluid and acidic honey than that of the honey bee and that is why it ferments faster and has nutritional and healing properties.
I also discovered that their product is easy to collect, because of the way they store it, in pots, and not in the same place where the hatchlings are. It also helps that they don't sting like other bees and wasps do.

Hace meses escribi un artículo sobre dos especies de abejas sin aguijón: la tetragonista augustula y la plebeia. Para escribir sobre ellas tuve que investigar, y aprendí muchas cosas. Por ejemplo, que la tetragonisca angustula es nativa del trópico, que produce una miel más fluida y ácida que la de la abeja melífera y que por eso fermenta más rápido y tiene propiedades nutricionales y curativas.
También descubrí que su producto es fácil de colectar, por la forma en que lo almacenan, en potes, y no en el mismo lugar en que se encuentran las crías. También ayuda el hecho de ellas no pican como lo hacen otras abejas y avispas.

Back then I saw them on zinnia flowers, and it was easy to photograph them in the act of collecting nectar and pollen.
I was not aware of the existence of two nest beaks on the patio walls (beak is the name given to the tube-shaped entrance, made of wax and with holes, that gives the bees access to the nest). When I discovered the first one I regretted not having put his photo in the post. Later, to my surprise, during a cleaning I discovered yet another peak, hidden among the plants.

En ese entonces yo las veía en las flores de zinnia, y era fácil fotografiarlas en plena faena de recolección de néctar y polen.
No me había percatado de la existencia de dos picos de nido en las paredes del patio (pico es el nombre dado a la entrada en forma de tubo, hecha de cera y con orificios, que les da a las abejas acceso al nido). Cuando descubrí el primero lamenté no haber puesto su foto en el post. Después, para mayor sorpresa, durante una limpieza descubrí otro pico más, escondido entre las plantas.

Recently we were finally able to purchase a set of adaptive lenses with which I got more detailed images of the bees, even though they are only about 5 millimeters.

Recientemente pudimos por fin comprar un juego de lentes adaptables con los que logré imágenes más detalladas de las abejas, aun cuando ellas miden solo unos 5 milímetros.

These industrious insects can be farmed for their honey, but the techniques differ from those used in traditional honey culture. There are some videos that describe in detail how the traps should be built so that we can take advantage of them without damaging their population.
The presence of native bees is also beneficial for the conservation of the environment since they recognize and favor the reproduction of the native flora.

Estos laboriosos insectos pueden ser criados para aprovechar su miel, pero las técnicas difieren de las que se emplean en la mielicultura tradicional. Existen algunos videos en los que se describe en detalle como deben construirse las trampas de manera que les podamos sacar provecho sin dañar su población.
La presencia de abejas nativas también es beneficiosa para la conservación del ambiente ya que ellas reconocen y favorecen la reproducción de la flora autóctona.
