Hi dear hiveans, days ago I found a moth on the bathroom tiles. It stayed in the same place all day but I could only take photos of it from two perspectives. There was a wall on one side and from above it was impossible to position myself to make the captures.
Hola queridos hiveanos, hace dias encontré una polilla en las baldosas del baño. Permaneció en el mismo lugar todo el día pero solo pude tomarle fotos desde dos perspectivas. Había una pared de un lado y desde arriba era imposible colocarme para hacer las capturas.

Description:
Adult:
Size: 18 to 22 mm wingspan.
Color: cinnamon brown with narrow white bands on the front wings. The hind wings have grayish or brownish yellow bands in some individuals; the stripes on both wings have dark and light spots.
Larvae:
Green with purple dots on the head.

North America, from Maine to Florida, west to Texas and north to Michigan and Ontario. It has also been found in Belize, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Australia (Queensland), the Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Reunion, and South Africa.
Feeding:
The larvae feed on beets, chard, potatoes, amaranth and various greenhouse plants.
Distribución:
Norteamérica, desde Maine hasta Florida, oeste de Texas y al norte a Michigan y Ontario. También se ha encontrado en Belice, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Australia (Queensland), las Comoros, Guinea ecuatorial, Reunion y Sudáfrica.
Alimentación:
las larvas se alimentan de remolacha, acelgas, patatas, amaranto y varias plantas de invernadero.
