Today I want to show you this beautiful grasshopper I found when I came home from work.
Siempre acostumbro a recoger la cortina de la cocina para que entre un poco de aire, ya que hace mucho calor pero cuando ví está diminuto saltamontes no dude en fotografiarlo , este pequeño saltamontes es de familia Acrididae de america.
Para estos tiempos de inviernos ellos suelen aparecer en sus diferentes especies.
I always use to pick up the kitchen curtain to let some air in, because it is very hot but when I saw this tiny grasshopper I did not hesitate to photograph it, this little grasshopper is from the Acrididae family of America.
For these winter times they usually appear in their different species.
Tienen un brío veloz , ya que al acercarte a ella saltan a una distancia muy larga. Este tipo de saltamontes cuando es adulto es de color amarillo con marrón y sus alas son grandes con muchas manchas marrones.
Las medidad de este pequeño insecto es de 4,4 cm cuando hablamos del macho pero la hembra es más grande de 5,5cm
They have a swift brio, as they jump a very long distance when approaching it. This type of grasshopper when adult is yellow with brown and its wings are large with many brown spots.
The size of this small insect is 4.4 cm when we talk about the male but the female is larger than 5.5 cm.
Los saltamontes solo nacen dos generaciones por año.
La hembra solo pone tres nidadas de huevos en una temporada.
Pero una nidada contiene de 50 a 90 huevos de color naranja claro.
Grasshoppers hatch only two generations per year.
The female lays only three clutches of eggs in a season.
But one clutch contains 50 to 90 light orange eggs.
