Good evening all friends #Insects-Of-The-World.
Many types of spiders live in tropical forests, but this time I found one of them, the European cave spider or called meta nerdi, I found this small animal when I was in the forest in the Aceh area when I visited there, moist areas and rocks became their habitat.
This species lives exclusively in permanently dark and humid habitats such as caves (including sea caves), mines, ditches, ice houses, damp cellars, limestone pavements, hollow trees, and railroad tunnels.
However, these spiders are so active that it is very difficult to get a focused image, especially in dark, poorly lit forests, After getting some photos, I immediately left the location.
Meta menardi, the European cave spider, is a long-jawed orb-weaving spider (family Tetragnathidae).[1] It is also known as the orbweaving cave spider, the cave orbweaver and, in context, simply the cave spider. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta_menardi.
