Its plant blooms when it is absorbing solar energy. It stays on the move to seek sunlight.
A solar-powered Poké-dino ☀️
Today I would like to share with you some of my Pokémon card collection. We will be focusing on Venusaur in this post. I have a total of 7 Venusaur cards in my collection.
Venusaur is the final evolution of one of the three original starter Pokémon from the Kanto region. It is actually Pokémon #3 on the Pokédex. I always considered this Pokémon to be my least favorite of the trio of the final evolutions of the starter options. I always preferred Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard and Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise over Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur. This does not mean that I didn't still love Venusaur. This giant amphibian-like venus fly trap-styled dinosaur stood out to me due to its colorful nature as a grass type.
Solarbeam was the Venusaur attack which I remember the most from the old Pokémon games. Shotting a giant sun-powered beam from the center of the massive poison flower on its back was something special. Plus the iconic VEEEE-NA-SAUR quip that this Pokémon yells during the anime is unforgettable.
Does anybody remember trying to capture a photo of Venusaur in the original Pokémon Snap game on N64?
I have a pretty dope collection of Venusaur Pokémon cards. I own a couple of Mega EX with absolutely gorgeous designs. I really enjoy the feeling of overgrowth from the plants throughout the card designs. Holographic Pokémon cards have always looked amazing to me, but they just keep getting better as time goes on. The artists really create some memorable cards and it is easy to become obsessed with them.
You have already seen a brief preview of my Venusaur cards, but I think now it is time that you get a closer look. I will provide an image, the card number, and the set to which it belongs. Also listed will be the average going price for these cards on the market. I am always open to selling my cards, but I am not in a rush to do so. Offers would of course need to make sense when looking at the relative prices provided.
