Very good morning dear community and happy start of the week for everyone, today I come with a new drawing for my blog and it is about Carrie the freshwater mermaid, it is a cute and blonde mermaid who lives in a very remote area of the planet, where no one sees her nor can hurt her, but being so lonely Carrie's personality is usually very sad and melancholic; here in this post I want to show you a little of the process of realization and I hope you like it:
Muy buen día querida comunidad y feliz inicio de semana para todos, el día de hoy vengo con un nuevo dibujo para mi blog y se trata de Carrie la sirena de agua dulce, se trata de una linda y rubia sirena la cual habita en un zona muy remota del planeta, donde nadie la ve ni tampoco la puede lastimar, pero al estar tan sola la personalidad de Carrie normalmente es muy triste y melancólica; aquí en este post quiero mostrarles un poco del proceso de realización y espero les guste:
PROCESS / PROCESO
I decided to use somewhat opaque colors for this work, mainly the skin I decided to use a rather pale skin color and with a not so flat brush I began to apply the base colors, then with stronger colors I applied the respective details of volume.
Decidí para esta obra usar colores algo opacos, principalmente la piel decidí utilizar en ella un color piel bastante pálido y con un pincel no tan plano comencé a aplicar los colores base, luego con colores más fuerte fui aplicando los respectivos detalles de volumen.
For this work I wanted to do something different and that's why I used only blue colors for the whole eye area, so that they were in tune with the mermaid theme, I applied a first layer for the eyeball of a sky blue and then I detailed the inner iris with darker blues, besides detailing the lips a little bit.
Para esta obras quise hacer algo diferente y es por ello que toda la zona del ojo utilice solo colores azules, de modo que entonaran un poco con la temática de la sirena, aplique una primera capa para el globo ocular de un azul cielo y luego detalle el iris interno con azules más oscuros, además de ir detallando los labios un poco.
For the hair from the first moment I wanted to paint it in a light color, that's why I decided to go for this light yellow that you can see below, then with a diffuse brush I was adding details of depth and some glitter, and then I finished the hair section by placing the strands that would give shape to everything.
Para el pelo desde un primer momento tuve ganas de pintarlo de un color claro, es por ello que decidí decantarme por este amarillo claro que pueden ver a continuación, luego con un pincel algo difuso fui agregando detalles de profundidad y algunos brillos, para posteriormente culminar el apartado del cabello colocando los mechones que le dieran forma a todo.
To finish the drawing the next thing I did was to paint the mermaid's scenery, in this case the water in which Carrie is immersed, with a first base of navy blue I degraded shades of blue until I reached the desired shape, then I blurred little by little everything to achieve the first part of the background, for the water I created a special layer in shine mode and I painted it with diffuse brushes, I added small details to the water and finally some more shines and shadows.
Para culminar el dibujo lo siguiente que hice fue pintar el escenario de la sirena, en esta caso el agua en el que se sumerge Carrie, con una primera base de azul marino fui degradando tonalidades de azul hasta llegar a la forma deseada, luego difumine poco a poco todo para lograr la primera parte del fondo, para el agua cree una capa especial en modo shine y fui pintándola con pinceles difusos, agregue pequeños detalles al agua y por ultimo algunos brillos y sombras mas.
